The office absolutely never calls back. For weeks in many instances. If you are sick, they tell you they will get back to you within 2 business days. They dont. They say its because its a teaching hospital and not a private facility. This is an ongoing and repetitive issue. How can a primary care provider not provide primary care?

Condescending as they make them. Last visit, after just getting an endoscopy, he did not look at the results. He also did not take my complaint seriously. That will be my last visit ever.

Ive been seeing Dr Bloom for 10 years now, and I think he is wonderful and very personable. I highly recommend him.

Absolute worst doctor Ive ever seen. He was incredibly rude, wouldnt listen, and even started to raise his voice with me. I was being seen for a possible yeast infection/UTI and he refused to do a pelvic exam for me, stating that he needs consent. When I said that I didnt understand and that I would sign a consent form he continued to refuse, saying he doesnt do those types of exams, without giving a valid reason for why not. Not sure what was going on, maybe he fears lawsuits or maybe he already had one against him, but either way he handled things with me very inappropriately. Every time I responded to him he stormed out of the room and complained to the nurses about me, and I know this because he was talking incredibly loud. He acted in an incredibly unethical and inappropriate way. He also did nothing for me, I left without prescriptions, urine tests, std tests, or anything else he could have done to rule out other conditions. All he heard was me saying possible yeast infection and made up his mind that he wasnt going to see me, which is ridiculous since Im not a medical professional and dont have a clue what I might have had. I was just having symptoms and thought it might have been yeast, it was up to him as the medical professional to determine the cause of my symptoms but he refused to. I will never see him again and definitely would warm against anyone else seeing him.
