La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Plantation at SW 6th St

Staff was friendly, coldest AC Ive ever used. Pillows are very uncomfortable. Not a bad stay for the price for a nice location. We did have to go up and down a few times because the keys had issues and one of the rooms assigned had a shattered mirror, which was not safe for kids.

Nice reasonably priced hotel. Rooms are a decent size and clean. Refrigerator and microwave in room but no safe. Nice amount of drawer space and closet. Small breakfast included with DIY waffle station, bagels toast muffins, cold cereal, some fruit and coffe

My first and last time staying at La Quinta Inn. The bed was squeaky and the sheets were horrible. The sheets had fuzzy balls all over of which made it extremmely uncomfortable. The pillows felt like rocks; I was unable to use them. The hallway smelled like wet socks. the hallway was noisy the entire night. I would not recommend this place. Rooms: Worst hotel room I've stayed.

We have stayed at this property twice before and this will be our last. It is run down, has much deferred maintenance and the staff is less than interested in guest comfort or service. Our room keys stopped working twice during our 3-night stay and the front desk staff did not apologize and on one occasion did not even ask for ID before providing a new key. Breakfast was unattended on Saturday; coffee, eggs, meat all out; juices marked as not operational but some people disregarded the signs and were able to serve get juice when signs said there was none. It appears they just dont want you to have juice. Fruit was old, dusty and unappetizing. People were tailgating outside our room window all weekend and talking loudly outside after 2am. Our room was spacious and clean but suffered from serious deferred maintenance especially in bathroom where the tiles were coming loose and rot and mold were present. Fire alarms went off two mornings in a row because of burned breakfast items and poor design and management of the breakfast area. Lobby area always in need of picking up, the coffee area was always a mess and we were greeted with chicken nuggets on the floor of the lobby as we checked in. Our overall impression was that the staff just did not care.
