I attended the spanish mass last Sunday March 3, 2024, the father whom mentioned he was from Colombia took 15 minutes to speak about how people dress to church his evangelist church like if there going to grocery store or CVS pharmacy, I sympathize with the families that heard this because not everyone can afford clothes , it was very offensive, maybe a donation for families that need help food or clothes and I thought this church is Catholic , very disappointed atthis sermon

LACKING EMPATHY! NOT KIND! Very saddening! This is such a beautiful church, Ive been coming here since a child. My father, Uncle and Aunt went to CCD at this church In 1970s! My grandma went to here as well. I was looking forward to my first child receiving his first holy baptism here. Unfortunately the woman who handles this, over phone was extremely unpleasant. She basically let me know my child was not welcomed here. She did not work with me even a little bit. She spoke to me in a belittling manner. And well this in turn resulting in me choosing a completely different church all together to attend Sunday mass and go through the process to receive my babies baptism. I emailed the church trying to discuss and solve this problem, no one ever wrote me back.. very frustrating and very disappointing. I would really consider a new person on the job who is maybe more church-like and kind especially to a new mother who is already overwhelmed with all that being a new mommy brings. If you dont like what you do you should change your position and do something else, I have heard they treat the children like peasants and now I absolutely believe that to be true with how she spoke with me. I was honestly scared she was going to jump through the phone and beat me with a wooden ruler.
