Took our Shar-Pei Sidney for a bath and brush out only. I was told to bring him in at 7:30am as he would be the first or one of the first to be bathed so my wife and I could get him without too much exposure to being in a cage as he gets agitated and anxious if left in there for long periods. Long story short 5 1/2 hours later we were told by text she was finished (Sidney is a boy). Upon arrival to pick Sidney we specifically asked the owner of the business Sandy if there were any problems because what normally takes 3 to 3 1/2 hours it took 5 1/2 hours! We were assured there were no problems and left to go home. The bath was $40 and I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip and I said yes reluctantly because of the time it took to wash and brush Sidney said $6.00 for a gratuity. Found out later Sandy put $10.00 for the gratuity. So upon arrival at home and really getting a chance to look Sidney over we were horrified to discover that the skin on his nose on the top was raw and bleeding. We immediately called and talked to Sandy about the problem and to find out what went wrong as we were never told that this happened she said that they had to put 2 applications of something on his nose because it was so very raw. We were LIED to upon picking Sidney up when we were told he was good and no problems occurred. We have had to make an appointment with our Vet at Turkey Creek Animal Hospital for treatment. We had Sidney at the Vet for his 1 year wellness checkup the day before on February 7, 2024, as the groomer appointment was February 8th, 2024. Not only were we LIED to about our beloved Sidney but Sandy put the wrong amount for a tip causing my charge to be $50.00 instead of the amount I okayed of $46.00!! Terrible place to take members of your family and shame on the Owners SANDY and JOE, they have been there to long to allow this to happened have her misrepresent and not tell us the customer what really happened to their pet. Jonathan Weinberg Dog and all Animal Lover...I would like to enter response from employee to my complaint. Would you like to pay our Vet bill for what happened to Sidney while at your 25 year in business pet parlor? Why don't you take up a collection from all the employees or better yet the Owners Sandy and Joe!! The ignorance and lying continue from this business. But just for clarity for future customers to consider this so called pet parlor before taking their loved pets there, my wife and I were told a complete bold faced LIE from the owner none the less that Sidney did great and there were no problems with him. It was different after getting Sidney home and talking to Sandy on the phone when we were informed that they had to apply ointment twice to his nose!! Never an apology from the owner just more fabrications. And talk about throwing salt in the wound adding more to the tip then I agreed to...shame on Sandy and Joe the owners of a deceptive and cruel business in my experience. I would recommend pets owners not to go there and find and honest groomer to take care of their loved pets!!

Hi Mr. Weinberg. This is the business manager at All in One Pet Parlor. I wouldn't normally respond to such a nasty review but your disrespect and misrepresentation of events are worthy of a response. Even though in your previous visits we've been able to complete Sidneys service by 11am, doesn't mean that it will be exactly that way every visit. We do out best to be accomidating to special requests but when working with animals unpredictable things can happen to throw us off schedule sometimes. We are a small business and have a small team of very well trained employees, in this case one of our team members had to have emergency gall bladder surgery and was stuck in the hospital and needs time to recover. Instead of rescheduling all bath appointments we agreed as a team to take on extra responsibilities and get it done. I honestly couldn't be more proud of how our team performed given the added pressure. What your calling a bath and brush only actually consists of a lot of more than you must realize. Sidney recieves a deep cleaning shampoo, a shedding shampoo followed by a deep conditioning treatment and a wet deshedding in the tub with a special tool to get all the undercoat out in the tub. He then gets to be completely hand blow-dried, a final dry shedding to get the last remainder of loose hair off. He then has his ears cleaned and toe nails trimmed and smoothed out. Then the potty area cleaned up and the paw pads shaved. Finally we give him a finishing spray to shine up the coat and put a bandana on and the service is complete. For large dogs it's a time consuming process. Sandy opens the doors at 7:30 as a courtesy to people who need to drop-off before work or school or those who need to pick-up before 12. Even understaffed your babies service was completed by noon and you picked Sidney up at exactly 12:37 as stated on the receipt. Being a larger dog Sidney requires two other employees to be present in order to safely lift him into the tub to start the service. I was the first one to arrive at 7:55 and I noticed Sidney was nudging the kennel door with his nose. (something that happens when dogs get anxious) I immediately moved Sidney into an open playpen area that he had to himself with a clean blanket to relax with. Sidney was given plenty of space to be comfortable for the remainder of his time with us. You were never lied to about that happening. You're issue regarding the tip could have been resolved in the salon before you left and can still be resolved now if you'd like, it's an easy thing to reverse. Our salon can get loud at times with the blow driers and the phone ringing and sometimes the dogs waiting for pick up can add to that noise and I'm positive it was a issue of hearing as Sandy's hearing isn't the best anymore. As for you mentioning Sandy and Joe, it's obvious to me you have no idea about their character at all. They've given their litteral blood sweat and tears into serving the community for 25+ years creating an environment for animals to feel safe and comfortable. We've all committed our lives and free time to help all animals, rescued and many with disabilities. Because it's a passion, no one is getting rich off of it we do it because we love to work with them. And some have tempers and we still manage to safely complete the service. Its obvious to our returning clients that we care about the animals first and foremost, it's unfortunate you weren't able to see that in us. I'll leave you with a bit of advice, you may want to look into a mobile groomer as they will be able to come to you and you can check in with your pet during the process. That might be a better fit for you and Sidney. From one animal lover to another I wish you and Sidney nothing but tail-wagging good times in the future!
