Terrible terrible experience. Didnt even have my right lender updated in their system until 4 days before closing. We had to do a remote closing and they failed to tell us before hand that we wouldnt have the keys until 4 days after closing because of fedex. If we knew before hand, I wouldve had other arrangements made to get the keys on time. They also failed to send the correct documents to the notary until around 10 am on the day of closing, causing us to scramble last minute to even schedule a time to meet with the notary. We were out of town due to our son being in the ICU at a highly specialized hospital and this company made our lives so much more difficult. My realtor, lender, and myself had to constantly call and email this office to make sure they had the details and timelines correct (which they didnt). This is my third house in 4 years and i have never had a title company experience like this!

If I could give a zero or a negative star, I would for this review. I received ZERO (O) responses and communication from both DHI Title and the Escrow Officer throughout this home purchase transaction. From the time that the purchase Contract was signed to the time that the purchase was closed, the Escrow Officer never contacted me for anything and everything. She did not bother to ask how I would like to set up the mobile notary service or to provide closing document in advance for me to review. On the day of closing, I did not even know that I was supposed to close on that day because the Escrow Officer never contacted me to give me a heads up or inform me of transaction. However, the only two times that she ever responded was 1. switched the lender and 2. provided me the "Wiring Instruction" immediately after I requested the info, and ZERO communication after that. Really???? I was very frustrated and disappointed in how I was treated as a Customer. I felt like DHI Mortgage and the Escrow Officer did not value me as a Customer, but yet they still wanted my business. The work ethic that the Escrow Officer portrayed throughout this purchase transaction was lacking professionalism and poor customer service representation skills. She failed miserably in her communication skill with her Customer. I have never experienced such a horrible Customer Service as I did with this company as a whole, and the Escrow Officer specifically, in my home purchase experiences in the past. No apologies, no follow-up after closing, NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER. I hope you will take my feedback and retrain your staffs to be on top of every single transaction, treat and respect the Customers, make the Customers feel important and value, and PLEASE PLEASE DO COMMUNICATE WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS regardless of small matters or big matters, it will make a lot of difference, if you still want to do business with your Customers.
