I have been going to Dr Noland for about 20 years along  with my husband. He has always been very professional and honest. If he feels uncomfortable doing a procedure he refers you to someone else.  The office staff is great also. The only problem I have with him is thinking he will retire one day and I'll have to find another great dentist.

Dr. Noland is a great guy! I cannot recommend him enough as a dentist. In early 2022, I had an upper molar on the left side going bad. The tooth hurt when I bit down on anything solid. I could see some rotting by the gum line. I went to a first dentist, and he said the tooth needed to be extracted. I was surprised when he said that, because the tooth didn't look that bad. They charged me $100 for the evaluation. So I went to a second dentist, this time the dentist said I could indeed have a root canal. I was happy to hear that. But they were going to charge me $4,000 for everything. They would send me out to get the root canal done, and then they'd do the crown. But I checked online about the specialist who they had scheduled to do my root canal, and I read quite a few negative things about him (e.g., he got the wrong tooth in one patient's mouth). There were multiple complaints against him, so I cancelled the appointment. Plus, I felt I was being way overcharged. I also was charged another $100 for this evaluation. So I went to a third dentist, and they took x-rays, did an exam and evaluation all foe free (which is why I went to see them). Their dentist also said that I could get a root canal and crown. They also sent patients elsewhere to get root canals done. All seemed okay at first, but then their staff and dentist tried to pressure me to let them do a "deep cleaning," for which they wanted $1,500. I had never heard of that and didn't know enough to ask any questions. So under pressure, I let them charge my credit card for $3,500 (not including an additional $1,680 for the root canal which would be done elsewhere). Yikes! I went home feeling taken advantage of, again. So the next day, by mere chance, I found Dr. Noland's clinic on Google. Thank God! The Lord must have been looking out for me, because I couldn't have found a better dentist. I explained my ordeal to the lady who was assisting Dr. Noland, and she went and told him. At the time, the two previous dental clinics had $4,600 of my money, pending having procedures done (Thankfully I got all that money refunded without any hassles). I was so confused who to let fix my tooth. Dr. Noland had compassion on me as a human being, by only charging me $900 to do the crown on my molar. He said that I didn't need a "deep cleaning" at all, not even close. He saved me $2,250! I knew right then that I had found not just a good dentist, but a decent guy. Every time I have been to Dr. Noland's office, he always shakes my hand, making me feel like a human being. He respects me as a person. That is so important. Dr. Noland understands the importance of making people feel welcomed. People just want to be loved. Also, I learned the hard way about "corporate dental offices." Those are chain dental clinics who send money back to headquarters. So they charge you for every little thing, taking advantage of people. For example: The third dentist (a corporate dental clinic) that I consulted with, charged me $125 for an electric toothbrush. I went to Walmart and bought a Braun (a top name in dental supplies) electric toothbrush for $15, which works just fine. Dr. Noland's office gave me a free regular toothbrush and some toothpaste, at no extra charge. Also, that previous clinic had charged me $80 for two different types of dental creams, that would have been used during the procedures. Dr. Noland didn't charge me anything for those items. I am so glad that I found Dr. Noland, and I won't be going to any other dentist as long as I live in the city of Pensacola. If you want a great dentist, this is the guy!

If I could give a 0 star review I would. Dr. Noland was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Talked down to me and made sarcastic remarks during our conversation. I just walked out of the office. I cant stand that type of behavior especially since Im the one paying for a service. I should have a say so in what I can and cant do to MY mouth. I would also like to note is it not the first time Ive heard negative things about Noland and that is my fault for not heeding the warnings. He truly doesnt seem to care about the people he takes care of. Background: I went in for a filling, Dr. Noland mentioned he would have to numb my tooth. This is not my first filling. I had had one done before at another office (I moved, otherwise I would have had it done at my old dentist.) anyways, I dont like needles. I have a phobia. Yes Im an adult and I understand that. But I have had no problem having dental work without it. I would rather take the tooth pain. I was going to explain that I was familiar with the procedure and that I would like to request no needles. Or just the liquid anesthetic they put over the gums instead and that would suffice. But before I could make my comment Dr. Noland proceeded to tell me if I couldnt do the needle I would just have to leave. I was dumbfounded by the way he made the remark as it was very sarcastic. Then followed with, a chuckle and how old are you like excuse me. I dont have to have a certain age for a phobia which was developed in my adult years anyways. I exclaimed that would be fine I would just leave. I was getting up to leave when I guess he wanted the last word so he mentioned I would have to deal with the needle later when he just takes my tooth out. I left the office furious. Ive never had a problem with any previous dentist or orthodontist as far as needles go before this one. There was no need to give me attitude. It was uncalled for. As my senior you would figure he would have more maturity to understand not everyone is the same but I guess not. I will be taking my business to another office. I am now at Summit Dentistry, where I am well taken care of.
