Three weeks ago, my son Brian (age 12) had a mishap while playing frisbee with a sheepdog, resulting in a knocked out tooth. As it happened on a Sunday, finding emergency dental help was challenging. After visits to an ER and NOVA, we were referred to Best Smile Cosmetics.
In spite of the severity of Brian's injury, he felt surprisingly no pain. Best Smile's Pembroke Pines office left us highly impressed with their professionalism, cleanliness, and knowledgeable staff. After the consultation, we decided to proceed with a root canal at their Miramar office.
Despite the overlapping schedule with Brian's 5th-grade dance, we managed to accommodate both the events. The dentists at the Miramar office were exceptional, explaining every step of the process in detail and assuring us throughout. Particularly fascinating was the use of sound to guide the root canal and the use of Gutta-Percha to protect the tooth.
Following the root canal, Dr. Alfonso and her assistant Ranaldo at the Pembroke Pines office did a wonderful job in replacing the lost tooth with a ceramic one. They carefully explained all aspects of the process, tailoring the new tooth's appearance to Brian's growing age.
As of June 28th, Brian sports a perfectly placed ceramic tooth and we couldn't be happier. Thank you, Best Smile Cosmetic Dentistry for your exceptional service and care!!!
