My wife had a colectomy done by Dr Wilson. He is an excellent surgeon with a great bedside manor. As busy as he was the day of her surgery, he made time to check on 2X a day while she was hospitalized. Only pain med she had was tylenol and is making a quick recovery. Thank you Dr. Wilson

Dr Wilson originally biopsied me which showed that I needed surgery. Not knowing how to treat it I went to U.A.B. and had surgery. I asked Dr wilson to look and see if it was healing properly which he refused but said he would be happy to biopsy me again. I made an appointment 2 months in advance and showed up to be told that my appointment had been canceled the day before because they had no records on me. They had 2 months to prepare for my visit. I was then told on the phone that he did not want to see me and I should go back to U.A.B. I was treated like an outcast and the whole thing was very unprofessional. Luckily I found a surgeon that took me right in, was very nice and immediately set up a biopsy.
