I DO NOT recommend using this company!! Brush Strokes came highly recommended to us to paint the interior of our townhouse including ceiling & kitchen cabinets. I met with the owner JJ and was impressed with his knowledge, time line and experience. Unfortunately, everything that I was impressed with was not applied to our paint job. I am extremely disappointed and angry. They were a bit pricey compared to the other 3 quotes I had obtained from different contractors but like I said he impressed me. So Let me start with my cabinets, faux finish, which is listed as a service they provide. My cabinets were done in grey & black which I provided a picture of what look I wanted. They look very similar but I would not say they look professionally painted. The technique is not consistent, splotches of paint ( almost like a type dyed design) in several places. Definitely not a flowing finish. There are lots of places on the doors that do not have even a hint of the darker color, and are a few places along the bottom trim that were missed so the brown is showing. One of my cabinet doors had to be redone because the faux design was in a completely different direction than all the others. It was repainted but the faux finish was never redone so I have 1 cabinet door that the panel is solid grey. Moving on to the rest of the interior, several doors & trim pieces throughout my townhouse have places that were not painted, our shiplap which is in all bathrooms (3), our staircase and 1 wall that extends from the entrance to our living room area is painted with flat paint, only has 1 very thin coat and places were missed as well. I made sure to request that all the nail holes in the shiplap be filled before painting, that was not done. We had a place on a bedroom wall that needed another coat of mud & sanding (from previous remodel contractor) before they could paint that area. We got it done before they were finished painting the rest of our place but they never went back and painted it. They did not paint or they missed the area behind all 3 toilets. We had different people show up everyday, They were here approximately 1 1/2 weeks instead of the 4 days I was told it would take to complete the project, they dripped paint all over the new floors (2 months installed) even though they covered the floors. I reached out to JJ right after I realized no one was coming back to finish and he said on at 3 different occasions he would come by, he was a no show every time. I made several more attempts to contact JJ (voicemail, texts) over this time and all attempts were never answered. Eventually I quit wasting my time. I am having to hire another painting company to basically repaint our entire interior. I have been told by 3 different companies that they can not guarantee they can match the darker color used in the faux finish on my cabinets because it is mixture. I am extremely irate that we have to spend the money for repainting. This is actually my 2nd review but the 1st one isnt showing on google, so I did a new today. I hope that Brush Strokes sees this review and does the right thing which is issue us a full refund! I gave them ample time to come back and correct the issues. If he chooses not to reach out, I will consider resolution legally before its to late. I am including pictures of all the items stated above. If you choose to use them, I hope your experience is completely opposite of ours. UPDATE: 2/26/24 Response to Brush Strokes. You are not correct, as per our text conversation you stated, I cannot search phones from 2022. I contacted you multiple times with my last text attempt on 5/26/22 which again was not answered. I have responded to your text from 2 days ago and I would like to come a resolution. The ball is in your court. We can hopefully resolve this amongst ourselves, or you can force my hand to take another path. We paid you a lot of money and the pictures show that at best the work was not good and was not completed.

JJ and his crew did a really good job painting the interior and exterior of our home . He was reasonably priced and did everything to please us. Would definitely recommend. Services: Paint indoors, Exterior painting
