Nice rooms, pet friendly. Less than 5 minute drive to the beach. We enjoyed our stay!

Room was pretty good but service was lacking, laundry room was out of service, they never did mention that. I was there from a Wednesday to a Saturday and they never cleaned my room or asked if i needed towels or coffe or anything. I called the front desk to ask for some towels and I was being polite, the lady had an attitude about it it like I was bothering her. She said you'll have to come down here if you want them. I asked when will my room would be getting cleaned. She said, she could ask the service guy or somebody if they'd be willing to do it if I wanted it cleaned. This was Friday btw. Also I often never saw anyone at the desk but then on the last day I noticed she was sitting down in a corner just out of sight so if you came by you wouldn't think anyone was there.... kinda strange.

Customer service with a smile! We booked here for a one night stay on our way to Destin to meet up with family. I read the reviews so we were a little hesitant but the location was was perfect for us. I am so glad we did! The hotel was clean and we were greeted by Devon (not sure of spelling of his name( he was busy at the front desk. I watched him he was very courteous to everyone and he knew everyone's name! When it was our turn to to check in he was so nice had our reservation right on top of the stack he told us he was happy to take good care of us! We had our poodle and he saw it on our reservation. We got our room key to bring in our belongings, Keith went to park our SUV while I pulled the cart inside with Jolie Fleur. Devon saw me pulling the cart and quickly came to help but by that time I had it inside, then he offered to pull it to my room for me. I thanked him and told him that I had it under control. He was a young black gentleman not sure of his dialect but either Jamaican or possibly Nigeria, this young man showed amazing service for everyone very cool under pressure and all with a smile on his face! I hope that the management will acknowledge his work and his lovely attitude towards the customers because he is a shining star in this world of little to no care for the customers. I really did appreciate his work ethic. Room was clean, breakfast was good we would definitely go back for a stay! Rooms: Very clean and functional, nothing broken. Great TV. Nearby activities: We were on back beach road close to restaurants and shopping. I found a place close by to get my nails done the next morning. Safety: The parking lot was well lighted with plenty of spaces available. We felt very safe there for the night. Food & drinks: Everting was great for the breakfast, I didn't go to the breakfast but Keith did.

Got the room off internet. It said pets stay free got there checked in walked dogs through lobby she told them we had 2 small dog there was no problem then. That night the night clerk called our room said we had to pay pet fee. After we already checked in been there a few hours. We told her we've stayed in La Quinta hotels for years because we've never been charged a pet fee she was very rude said it has to be payed right then. Will never use them again anywhere
