Banana Peel Resort

I love the Banana Peel! The room was CLEAN, the water was HOT, the service was FANTASTIC! I think they recently or are in the process of a remodel and it really shows. Theres a lounge area with games, great subs, and a bar. Not to mention an awesome front store. The courtyard area is very nice with a clean pool and yard games. I felt safe the entirety of the stay here. Walkable to local coffee/tea shops and bars. I would definitely stay here again! Rooms: Extremely clean and well remodeled. Safety: I felt extremely safe the entire time. Walkability: Very walkable to the beach and bars/coffee. Food & drinks: Cool lounge area with a great bartender/attendant and very good food.

Please do not go to this place it is awful. If I could give zero stars I would. This has to be the worst place I have ever been to. We could not even stay in the room my son started having breathing issues so we had to leave. We was there not even 30 minutes. We went up front to tell them and ask for a refund and for the manager to call us still have not heard back from him. That was 8/23/23. The rooms are like jail cells and the beds are nasty. The showers are disgusting. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

Reminds me of an abandoned resort from American Horror Story but I love it. The staff was polite and helpful. Theres a CBD shop, liquor store, coffee shop right next to it. $2 Blue Moon cold. PARADISE!! Beautiful beach across the street. If you like eccentric type places then I highly recommend Banana Peel.

One of the worst hotels Ive ever stayed at. The floor was greasy, the sheets were dirty, there was strange stains all over the ceiling. The air conditioner could not keep up with the outside heat, and I believe that most of the room was not insulated. The shower water pressure couldnt keep up with the demand of a regular shower, and I had to stick my head underneath the faucet to even wet my hair. The shower was freezing most of the time, and the toilet seat was not installed properly. When we asked to switch rooms they said no, but they would service the room. This servicing included changing the sheets and then giving us towels with holes in them. This genuinely was not worth the money, and the only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. Rooms: Absolutely awful Walkability: Its close to the beach and restaurants
