Boardwalk Beach Hotel & Convention Center

Just a different kind of crowd this place attracts. I am a family man with wife and six kids we like a more secluded area. I would not bring my family here

Stayed here with my family for spring break last week and I have mixed reviews. The location was great! Walmart, local attractions and food was all in walking distance. Both pools are nice and clean. The "game room" is a joke! lol I kids laughed at it. We didn't eat there but I did have a few drinks. The bartenders made pretty good drinks. The room was expected for the price. The room was clean and smelled clean as soon as I walked in..the bathroom shower curtain was filthy. The toilet barely worked and made noises all night.The TV was awful and only had three working channels. My TV stopped working and I had to call twice for over a hour and then visit the front desk to get assistance. There was a few times that I felt unsafe by the staff members there. Men that worked there was asking for my number and asking me out on dates. Being from another state and on vacation with my children, that made me so uncomfortable. Very noisy at night, guest were playing music loudly. Parking wasn't a problem but there was no security monitoring the parking and if anyone was parking there illegally. Another thing I noticed on my stay was the professionalism from the staff. While front desk, bar staff and groundskeepers were all pretty friendly, management was not. I ran into management a few times during my stay and they were always so uninterested in guest. I never seen them speak or even look in the direction of a guest to be polite. That was weird. We spent half of our time at the BBH and the other half in a suite on the other side of PCB and I would definately stay at the other one again, not so much BBH Nearby activities: Family fun activities within walking distance as well Walkability: Shopping, food and beach is all in short walking distance

I would give 5 stars for the price but the bed mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Perfect little getaway right on the beach. Photo is the view from my room window
