Authentic Concepts Kitchen & Bath

We had the superb experience of having Authentic Concepts Kitchen and Bath remodel our home in New Port Richey, Florida. A large part of our home had to be demolished due to a mold infestation discovered after we had moved in. We camped in our lanai, cooking on hot plates while we searched for someone to help us. The bright side was that I could envision my dream kitchen and bath and hope someone could make it a reality. Things looked dismal for a while with very limited usable kitchen space including a large weight bearing pole and low hanging large vent right in the middle of the kitchen area. The curved walls did not accommodate more than a junior small sized oven. Kari G the designer said "I love a challenge" . You can say she performed a miracle. Our new kitchen is not only open and spacious with an island and breakfast bar that we love, but also has a large refrigerator, DW and also the double oven I have always wanted. We have cabinets galore and even a wrap around coffee station. The products rank so high in quality and beauty that we used them in the master bath as well. Visitors come and always exclaim when they see the final effect. Authentic Concepts Kitchen & Bath turned our concept into a reality.

Authentic Concepts We have just finished our kitchen remodel with Authentic Concepts, and are very happy with the results. While there were some minor delays, the project was completed by the holidays, and just in time for a family gathering. We worked with Kari G., and she gave us excellent guidance regarding design and materials. There were a number of craftspeople working with us, and we want to give a special shout out to Tyler and Daniel for their skill and patience. Thank you Glenn, for making sure it all came to fruition. The kitchen looks beautiful, and is a very efficient use of space. We do not hesitate to recommend Authentic Concepts! Susie and Jay Mills

Did not use their services but had a rep come out and measure. Both the initial salesperson as well as the designer stated I would be able to supply my own materials without issue. No one said that they would not install the cabinets I would purchase on my own. When asking for the terms of payment they stated 50% up front before any work is done, even if they are not buying materials, and then the balance due half way through the process, even before the job was even finished. When it was time to receive a price they required for me to come to their store and sit through a presentation before they would provide a price. I asked if they would make it easier and come to the home (one mile away) and provide pricing, and if necessary give the presentation with their laptop which they refused. I asked for their price to ensure it would be within my budget, before agreeing to come in, but they refused. By paying for the job prior to the completion, it can be very risky in my opinion, and you lose your leverage in ensuring the project is complete and done correctly. Many established companies went out of business during the recession of 1999 to 2001 as well as many more during the great recession of 2008 to 2012. Contact your local States Attorney's office, or local consumer protection agency, if they approve of this unequitable arrangement for paying for contract services. I found several other independent home improvement contractors, with good reviews, that did not require these type of unacceptable terms and had the job completed successfully and for a reasonable price.
