An employee of Auto Source Autos reversed into my husband while they were stopped at a stop sign in February. Our Hood was crumpled and we were unable to drive our car. The employee assured us everything would be taken care of, and in the end it wasn't. This was the most frustrating and annoying process we have been involved in regarding an accident. Their office comptroller reached out to my husband and made my husband do all the legwork regarding getting estimates, while he was working. He got two estimates and they did not want to take the car to either place, likely due to them wanting the cheapest job. They went back and forth with us on where we could take our car, causing us unnecessary stress and headaches. We were assured via email they would cover our rental car and they did not cover it. To this day we still have not been reimbursed for our rental car ($400) They tried to force us to take our car to a lower quality body shop and use non OEM parts, saying "we'll pay for your rental if you do this". I'm sorry but this was 100% the fault of your employee, and by extension, your company. If you were reputable and respectable you would have covered all the repairs with OEM parts and the rental car. Our car had OEM parts when it was damaged and it should be repaired with OEM parts, no question about it. If you are a dealership or business looking to work with Auto Source Autos and you care about your employees, I would advise not to work with this company. If one of their employees hits a vehicle owned by one of your employees it will be nothing but filled with shady tactics, giving them the run around, and trying to get them to go to the cheapest(and lowest quality) bodyshop. Special shout out to Kevin Beck, the VP of the company, who was not helpful at all and was the one who reneged on them paying for our rental unless we took it to a different body shop. Edit: this happened in 2019. As of December 2020 they still never paid for our rental car. Moral of the story is don't trust people when they say they will use "company insurance" instead of their own. Still can't believe they were so unprofessional. Just submitting an update since I saw they got a bunch of people to post reviews 6 months ago lol.
