Staff is super friendly. Answered all my questions. Not a place to hound you if you haven't been to the dentist in awhile. Went in for a tooth extraction. Haven't been to the dentist in years. Couple X-rays and an appointment was made. Fast and easy.

Very pleased with the excellent care I received at Palm Coast Family Dental! Dr Trejos is very thorough and explained everything in easy to understand terms. I would highly recommend them!

I recently visited Palm Coast Family Dentistry for a cleaning and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the staff were friendly, I was left feeling frustrated by the lack of transparency about pricing. When booking my appointment, I had asked for a cleaning & the cost of a cleaning. I was met with vague responses and reluctance to provide clear pricing information, but was told someone would call me back to discuss. I never received that phone call, and the day prior to my appointment I was called to be reminded to fill out my new patient paperwork, so I asked again specifically what will my cleaning appointment cost tomorrow? I was told $149. Turns out after arriving for my appointment that the $149 was for x-rays and exams and did not include a cleaning at all. The lack of transparency made it difficult for me to plan and budget for my dental care, and ultimately left me feeling uneasy about the financial aspect of my visit. Since I did want a cleaning & was already there, I spent almost $400. I would have been fine with the situation had they been upfront that they do exams and x-rays for $149 and cleanings are additional based off their findings, but that was not even mentioned. Additionally, I was recommended some take-home dental care items by the dentist, but when I asked to purchase them, I was informed that they were out of stock & told to use over the counter products. There was a huge push for me to purchase these items until they realized they didnt have them to sell. It was frustrating to be encouraged to invest in products that the office didn't have available as well as they never said to come back when they are in stock, just to use over the counter. Overall, while I appreciate the professionalism of the staff, the lack of transparency about pricing and the recommendation of unavailable products left me feeling dissatisfied with my experience. I hope they can improve in these areas to better serve their patients in the future.
