Chase Bank

I like Chase Bank and they have been my bank for 30 years. However, we recently moved to Flagler Beach and the closest branch AND atm is over 10 miles away. Too far for convenient atm. Im considering changing banks.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to speak with anyone by telephone. Chase Customer Service does not recognize my social security number. They ask for a pin number for my debit card. I keep telling them that I have never had a debit card with chase or any other bank. They insist on saying that I do have one. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE. I am not able to access my accounts on line because their automated robot doesn't recognize me and customer service isn't any better than their robotic idiots

My CD matured and i must go to a branch to see their limited number & busy banker to get my money out ( moving from CD to checking). I am only given a week before it got renewed automatically. I have no choice must see a banker. I am now sitting in one of their few vacant seats in a branch with a 11 am appointment .. now its 11:47am and i am still waiting. . Finally it was my turn & it took less than 5 minute for the banker to clicked a few click on his computer. This primitive process kept me at the bank for 1 hr, thats excluding traveling time. At the age of Mobile/online automated banking, this is very inefficient and wasting both the employee & customer time. As for excuse of Security, the money was transferred to same account holder Chase checking account. So i dont see is any more secure having the banker doing it. In summary, I wouldnt do CD with Chase going forward if their process is not going to change. This trip costed me close to 2 hr, when i could have done it online in 5 minutes.
