We just used APS, Inc. to get plantation shutters for our new townhouse. Mike was extremely responsive and easy to work with. The finished product is beautiful. Frankly, I think APS provides a fantastic value too. I shopped roller shades to see if I could do it myself a save a bunch of money. Yes, the plantain shutters ended up costing more, but not that much more. Plus, the cost of the shutters included installation (whereas I would have had to install the roller shades myself). On top of that, I'm supporting a local business and a getting product that's manufactured right in Palm City. I highly recommend Mike and his team. Oh yeah, on other note - my parents just purchased plantation shutters through Home Depot (out in TX). It took a month or two to get their shutters and they ended up paying more than I did, for fewer windows. So, I definitely recommend getting a quote from APS. They had our shutters manufactured and installed in two weeks or less.

Recently purchased a new home in Vero Beach and was inundated with various window treatment options including plantation shutters. I spoke to Mike/owner of Architectural Plantation Shutters who was the person who came out and measured and answered every question we had regarding "WOOD" shutters, Everything he said made total sense to both my wife and I and what I like most was how they finish their product to match the WOOD trim we already had in our home. Additionally, all they needed was a 2-3 week window of time once our order was submitted to make and have everything installed. This morning Terry and Nate (installers) were here at ON TIME at 9:00 not 9:10 or 9:15 to begin their process. Both were excellent, polite and totally professional. Not only did the installation, but also made sure we were aware of how to adjust and live with our new shutters. Before they left, they provided us with touch up paint, and all other supplies just in case we need anything. What made me feel extra proud was that we did business locally and did not fund or patronize countries over seas! If you are considering plantation shutters, give Mike a call because you will be glad you did! Total quality and professionalism throughout their process. Lou Z
