Irene Lummertz Jewelry recently opened a new store at The Esplanade shopping center at 150 Worth Avenue (Starbucks, Gucci, Saks, etc).  She's on the second floor near the new COSTAS RESTAURANT.  You must SEE this store yourself -- the design is amazing.  Her previous store was extremely elegant and this one is elegant and has an amazing color scheme.  The jewelry is tremendous and we looked at many new designs.  This woman is very talented and creates the most gorgeous pieces we have encountered in a long time.  Some of her work looks like VERDURA which is a landmark brand from long ago.  But Irene adds some modern cachet to her pieces.  Many of the "chandelier" earrings can be worn FULL LENGTH or can be uncoupled and just the top stone can be worn for a less formal look.  Her trademark THREE STONE RINGS are still being designed and presented here. But I noticed that most of the watermelon tourmaline rings were gone.  She told me that a collector came by and, once she saw her watermelon tourmaline pieces (which are rare) the lady bought most of her stock.  Irene said she has more in process but it takes a while since her pieces are designed individually by her and handmade by artisans in Brazil.  We were happy to see the new store and new design.  She has a trademark saying "Prepare to be Dazzled!" And it is very true.  You will not find handmade jewelry like this anywhere these days.  And while nothing in her store would be considered "inexpensive" the truth is that her prices are extremely reasonable and fair.  Once the Hollywood crowd gets a piece or two of Irene Lummertz's jewelry, you can count on her becoming a very popular brand.  We are happy to have purchased more of her work now since I can sense that her popularity is on the rise.  She told us that she was preparing for her 4th showing at Paris Fashion Week and her show begins on March 4th -- call her store for the invitation (561-655-5000).  I am certain that the journalists and bloggers will continue to write about Irene and her work.  The Palm Beach Daily News did a huge article on her recently -- and that's only the beginning.We wish her much success since she really deserves it!UPDATE:  We attended a fun Easter Party at the store and she had a sketch artist there to sketch your face and she was excellent! The champagne was cold and delicious!  We saw a new pair of Citrine earrings and purchased them and she gave us a slight discount since we are loyal customers!  This is really a unique store and it is always a joy to visit.  Thank you!
