Sandhill Crane Golf Club

WOW. An amazing, family friendly facility, with both a full distance golf course, and a new full par three golf course- "The Nest". This facility features two beautiful club houses, and two driving ranges. If it's your first time visiting, when you arrive at the main clubhouse and driving range, you may not realize there's a secondary, brand new, and extremely cool, driving range and clubhouse at "The Nest". This newest section has a beautiful indoor/outdoor clubhouse, with double-decker driving range and trackman machines fully integrated. Along with a great snack bar and indoor/outdoor bars. I've learned this exceptional facility owes much of its beauty and success to general manager, Casey Mitchell. In addition to being general manager, Casey works tirelessly as a coach for the junior PGA golf program. Her passion and commitment has been a blessing for my son as he develops his passion and skills in the game of golf. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. (as you arrive at the main clubhouse, you will see a somewhat hidden driveway leading to the nest facilities). Be sure to check it out.

So, i have read all the reviews, many of which have criticized the staff. Cant disagree more. Jordan and his staff are friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Then the course. Fun layout and great facility, all the way from the range to the par three to the food. If you dont play here you are really missing out.

Just check the other reviews and you will understand that #1yes, some employees/volunteers should never be allowed to work at a golf course and #2, this is the way municipal courses operate under their own rules whether you paid over$100 or not. It is a shame because the course is beautiful and several officials are very gracious. Why cant we just weed out the bad actors? BTW, as gorgeous as the golf course is, it is NOT a $100+ rated golf course.

Arrived 30 mins before my tee time, my friend and I (both 17, with drivers licenses) were refused a cart despite paying for one. Clubhouse staff is rude and confrontational. Total ripoff.
