We found a table in line at TigerLily and drove from Mount Dora to the shop to see it. Marla was wonderful and so accommodating. We purchased the table at what we feel was a very reasonable price. My first review: Tigerlily Arts & Antiques and the Art Gallery. Kind of underwhelming, if I am going to be completely honest. I expected much more from an upscale retail store and was disappointed. The location was underwhelming and the store had a distinct odor to it that I could not overcome. Marla who I believe is the owner was nice but there was something off putting about our interaction and after reading the other reviews, I can see why they are very mixed. Some nice inventory, some really nice and expensive things and some over priced not so nice things. Definitely some pieces that need to be authenticated if they are going to be charging so much for some of the pieces they have. It was a quick trip around the store and the gallery as they were not that big, but they were packed with things. And I mean extremely crowded. Hard to maneuver through the store especially for someone my age. Would recommend to someone if they want to see something different in the Palm Beach Gardens area, but would not recommend purchasing anything without a certificate of authenticity. I was shown some art glass that was not authentic and it was priced as if the most famous artist forged them in a diamond room in the Queen of Englands home. Best of luck to this business and the owner. Hopefully my next visit will be better.
