We have lived here coming up on 2 years in July. If you are looking to be surrounded by nature, living on or near a lake or just soaking up the sun, Simple Life cottage community is for you. The sunsets are breath taking, beautiful garden and tranquil water fountain. Why not reminisce or make new memories. There are many amenities to enjoy. I've stayed at Simple Life with girlfriend on some weekdays while developing our property in Citrus County and kept a change of clothes there that I will be removing today!! We always left early and totally kept to ourselves especially after she was accosted by a neighbor under the influence at a sponsored Simple Life Event. It's bad enough that Management created a hostile environment for both of us after she reported that incident but I couldn't believe the threats, harassment & intimidation FROM MANAGEMENT until I saw for myself! NOW after receiving a letter from her Lawyer, they want to add me to the OVERPRICED land lease even though I don't live there! No feelings, just FACTS.... You don't own the land that the tiny overpriced home is on. Home won't appraise well so you better have cash! Fee's and land lease are almost $1000 month (after buying the home). Girlfriend listed her home for almost 30k less than she paid for it 1 1/2 years ago which was almost 250k. Recent positive Google reviews were coerced from residents after announcing gfs negative Google review and telling residents that property values and resale problems are her doing and asking residents to post positive reviews and encouraged them to say how safe it was!! Homes are on the "bad side" of hwy 301. Train comes through several times a night and is VERY LOUD with train horn frequently blowing and the metal on metal from the tracks. Contract is a couple inches thick and those that read it won't sign it!! This post will likely hurt her chance of selling for those that read Google reviews. It is what it is!! I'm done messing around with these fools and sharing my reviews with every single #Tiny home reviews I find to hopefully help people from making the same mistake she did there ! I have met with the Management team regarding these issues & were assured that they would be handled IF her negative Google Review was taken down. Their threats, intimidation, lies and Invasion of privacy got worse.

Bought new over a year ago and the driveway is collapsing. Simple Life, 2-10 warranty and builder would not take care of this issue. I have had problems with neighbors and management and I would not recommend moving here. I do not feel safe here. Someone can grab your behind and proposition you at a Simple Life event and they sent an email to the person. Police report filed. I think the lease is very high but the lure of sponsored events drew me in. I have not attended an event since then and never will. I dont even leave my yard and always looking over my shoulder. Jan 4, 2024 - 6 days later They agreed to cooperate with the police. Give me a break!! Since coming forward, Simple Life threatened me to remove this post and I have been faced with incredible ridicule and horrible lies being told that begin in their administrative office. Driveway still collapsing on a home that is just over 1 year old. I offered my home as a first right of refusal per Simple Life's policy, and they stated that they had over 15 houses to sell in this tiny community and refused my offer. Sometimes the truth sounds like hate to those that hate the truth!! Jan 13 I have received several messages from who I thought was a friend who says I need professional help. Jan 23 Simple life has finally fixed my driveway yesterday several months after me posting negative remarks on Google. Thank you google! Did I mention that through the evening and early morning hours that the freight train rumbles the ground and blows its obnoxious horn at 2, 3, 4, 5 in the morning. Jan 26 Their recent survey shows 8% highly unlikely and 8% were unlikely to recommend Simple Life to friends and family and 20% were neutral. That speaks volumes. Retired.after 42 years with the Department of Defense, this is not how I envisioned retirement to be. In our contract we are supposed to give them first right of refusal to purchase my home and they refused. I will NEVER attend another function or use facilities.

As the sign at the entrance says, "Simple Life," the style of life in this community it's simple, fun, safe and very enjoyable.
