HONEST REVIEW- full details. I spent a lot of time looking up tree pruning services as the house my wife and I bought in Apopka clearly, very desperately, needed maintenance. Before we moved in we had already had 2 trees removed as they were dying and leaning over the house. I wanted to originally save money so I borrowed a chainsaw and was watching gratuitous DIY videos on YouTube for how to not only safely cut trees, but also do so in a way that promotes tree health, allows the bark to grow over wounds, doesn't shock the tree, etc. The reality is, tree pruning is a real science and why the Arborist Doctor uses actual arborists. The angle of the cut in a prune, which limbs should go, what trees look healthy but are actually dying/ dead, how to promote growth, ... the list goes on and on. In the end, I went with the Arborist Doctor. I met the Sales manager Jeff who is about to finish his arborist certification and the hours of videos I had watched (yea I'm a nerd) he mirrored with his in depth knowledge on how to take care of our property. I am not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination, but this company gives very reasonable deals. Further more, if they are being outbid, it's because you're paying a disreputable company that doesn't know what they're doing. I had 6 trees pruned, some of which requried MASSIVE cuts, and 3 trees removed (2 oaks, 1 palm) of which were mostly huge, 80+ ft tall oaks. Jeff and his team were early to our appointment, he was honest, open, and their team was fantastic. Super efficient workers who took the job seriously, got a full day's job done in about 5 hours straight (no breaks), and moved on to 2 other jobs that day. I bought the guys lunch, trying to be hospitable- "we don't break to eat, just snack, so we can get our work done." I also appreciate that Arborist Doctor pays their employees by the day/ work, not by the hour, so no bs loligagging, they were there to get a job done. 1 huge crane truck, dozer, half a dozens chainsaws, and a team of 6 made short work of my property. But like they say in Reading Rainbow, "Dont take my word for it..." look at the picutures. I could not be happier and would recommend this team for all of your needs. Tree pruning, tree removal, asteroid impending armageddon requiring drilling team- go with the Arborist Doctor, you wont be dissappointed. My landscaping/tree care can best be described as "benign neglect". Because of this, we had a LOT of work that needed to be done. When Crystal stopped by and offered a free estimate yesterday, I was thrilled because we'd known for a while that our big oak tree needed major help. Miles stopped by and gave us a very fair estimate for the work that was being done and we had a crew out first thing this morning. We had 4 trees trimmed including the massive oak tree which had ginormous branches dangerously close to the house, 4 smaller trees removed and all the related cleanup. Justin (the owner) and his crew did an amazing job and were done in just about 5 hours including having to work around the weather. I'm super thrilled with the work and the professionalism they showed. Even when part of my fence had to be removed so the cherry picker could get on the property, it was put back exactly as it was before they came. We will definitely be using Arborist Doctor, LLC for future tree trimming and grounds clearing. Services: Tree trimming & pruning, Tree removal
