Absolutely terrible customer service. When I first called they told me to just email and they would respond. Ok so I did, response time was days sometimes over a week. Called to try to just talk instead of email and he said he doesnt have time to go back and forth on email 10 times even though he only responded twice then ghosted. He said "im used to builders who know what they are doing and can just call and quickly order what they need". This is in response to me trying to pay the guy a deposit! Nevermind!

I called A1A East Coast Land Surveying in Late December 2021 to get the process set up for a land survey. They Informed me in December of 2021 that they would be out the 2nd week of February to have our survey completed. I understand with the way Covid has effected things a lot of people are short staffed right now, so no big deal. 2nd week of February rolls around we call mid week on Wednesday 02/09/22 and ask when they would be out to do our Initial survey, he assured us that is would be done by Friday 02/11/22, still no show. We didn't receive a phone call or anything to let us know that they would not be there. After calling countless times with no answer, we finally got through on 02/15/22 they assured us again that someone would be there by Friday 02/18/22 to have the survey completed. They blamed it on the rain (Which I understand, that could put them behind) so they Assured us that the survey would be completed by Friday 02/25/22. I call on Tuesday 02/22/22 to make sure that they are still coming out this Friday 02/25/22. They answer the phone and he tells me " No, we won't be able to make it out to do you survey this week or next week." I ask for a refund at this point, after paying full in advance. I am so tired of being given the run around and them not keeping their word. We have been waiting patiently for 2 months and they have not been able to keep their word. After I ask for the refund he says on the phone "Oh, yes your husband threatened me on the phone yesterday, you can absolutely have your refund, it will be ready for you to pick up tomorrow on 02/23/22" my husband did not threaten this man, my husband told him "If you are not here by 02/25/22 we are going to need a refund because ya'll have not been able to keep your word." I go into the office on 02/23/22 to pick up our refund, he hands me the full amount that we paid. Then he asks '"I'm just curious as to why you canceled our survey with us." I was dumbfounded when he asked that. I then said "I spoke to you on the phone yesterday, and you told me that our survey would not be done for at least another 2 weeks because you could not get anyone out there." he denied everything to my face, and was trying to go back and fourth with me. I tell him " I just came for a refund, we have another company taking care of us, have a nice day." I leave. Then he comes out to my car as I am getting in it, and says "My co-worker told me that I did say that on the phone yesterday, I don't know why I would say that ,I'm sorry." Either this man is Mentally unstable or he is just lazy. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECCOMEND WASTING YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY! Sounds like a scam artist.

We hired A1A East Coast Land Surveying and, on November 9, 2020, we wrote a check for 1/2 the contract price which was needed to reserve a date for the survey.  Were promised a few weeks for the report, but in no event  later than December 22nd.  Something was done because there were markers on the property; the markers, however, were placed on the next door neighbor's property  causing me, my contractor and the next door neighbor much anxiety.  Many calls were placed to the office, but there was no possibility to leave a message.  The contractor had to physically go the place to speak with the man.  By the 5th of January, still waiting to have the survey done, we hired someone else who did the work in 3 days and had a report ready within the week.  Life is hard enough; no need to allow someone who claims to be the leader in the industry to waste your time the way these people did.  I wrote a letter requesting the deposit back--you guessed it, they lied about the dates over and over, and we never got our $350.00 back.  If you want to get the surveying done, find someone else, because these people are worthless liars.MRM in Jacksonville

I ordered a tree and topographic survey for land I wanted to purchase. After a month they were unable to provide this due to complete incompetence. They mistook a 40" Oak for a 30" Hickory, destroyed a neighbor's trees, did not mark of ANY of the trees on the property, staked off the property line only after we asked multiple times. They couldn't figure out how to draw the wetland lines, my husband had to show them how. After using up 29 days of our 30 days of due diligence we fired them and hired another surveyor. When we compare the tree and topo survery from the new surveyor to the junk this company provided you can clearly see that 90% of what was marked was completely wrong. We went out and walked the property and know the new one is correct. Stay away from this company. They took a huge amount of money from us with nothing to show for it but a huge headache.
