Very clearly a terrible practice, I would not bring my pets here. I called to get a price range for a general pet teeth cleaning. The woman on the phone was disgustingly rude, refused to provide me any information whatsoever, and claimed that she was the only person who worked in the building when I requested someone more helpful. She stated she had no idea what the price range would be because she wanted me to pay $60 first. I've called multiple different vets today and they were all able to give me either a firm price, or a general price range. What an embarrassing experience for that woman, this practice should feel ashamed to have her employed.

I'm kinda surprised about all of the positive reviews here. I've had two experiences with the Dr. Phillip's Animal Hospital. The first time I came in to have a cat declawed (I'm not here to debate how anyone feels about that procedure, just to tell my story). They looked at my cat and brought me back for the consultation. The doctor said he hated the procedure, that he hoped the state outlawed it, but then agreed to do it anyways. That was the kicker for me. Plenty of places don't do it. If they were against the procedure, they could say "no", but they didn't. They gave a big moral guilt speech and then took the money. More recently, a different cat was in distress (would later be determined elsewhere to be a stroke). We called them and were told if we weren't there by 4 - they closed at 5 - they wouldn't see our pet. They are an emergency place that accepts walk-ins, but they all wanted out of there at 5 PM, period. So, my impression for these experiences is that money and convenience ultimately came before the animal in question. I see all these great reviews, but I see them for a place that doesn't seem to stand for anything. We won't be using them again.

I had an incredibly strange and unprofessional experience at Dr. Phillips Animal Clinic. A few weeks ago, I brought my cat in to have a lump on her right lower abdomen checked. Today, I dropped her off at 9 AM for surgery to remove it. At 11 AM, I received a call confirming the location of the lump, which was the only lump she had and protruded quite visibly under her tummy. Then, at 2 pm, I got another call saying the surgery was finished and that I could pick her up between 6:00 and 6:30 PM. However, when I arrived for pickup at 6:00, I was told that the doctor wasn't available until 6:30 and that my cat hadn't undergone surgery. I returned home ( I live close) and waited for the call telling me when I could pick her up. At 7:00 PM, I received a call that my dog was ready for pick up...When I got to the office, it turned out that my cat had indeed undergone surgery. This entire ordeal seriously undermined my confidence in the doctors and their ability to manage their office.
