Publix Super Market at Avalon Park

This Publix does not have the same standards of the rest of the Publix stores. The seafood department is the worst. If you ask for a roll to be made specifically a veggie salad roll they are consistently not available because they are out of the ingredients used. For months now. This is a lie of course, they just dont wanna be bothered. When I do see them made they are made one tray a day, and cut up into pieces as to not use the amount of avocado that is standard in every other store. From Eastwood to cocoa there is 3 or 4 veggie salad rolls made on their sushi dept and they are available to make it upon request. This dept doesnt want you to order or want anything they advertise as normal sellers. Def skip until this store standardizes their practices. Deli is over run and understaffed. Subs never made on time if ordered ahead. Ive seen the baggers when I walk in and by the time I walk out they are cleaning the toilets. Young kids ? This store needs to be walked monthly by the higher ups to see the quality is not there.

So Publix is using the HIGH SCHOOL KIDS FROM THE AREA AND YOUNG COLLEGE STUDENTS to do their cleaning? THE CASHIERS ,PACKERS AND CAR CREW ,ALSO WORK AS JANITOR? Every store always have the maintenance department or cleaning department how came Publix don't have one. THE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS CLEANING BATHROOMS ON PUBLIX IN AVALON PARK??I wonder if the PARENTS are AWARE OF THIS. I'm sure they don't tell this YOUNG people listen you will be cleaning the bathroom as well, even though we are hiring you as a packers or customer service team. So wrong

Can someone for management explain to everyone why publix IS NOT CLEAR ON THE HIRING PROCESS to high school teenagers and young college students when they get hired to work on the front end of the store meaning PACKERS, Car crew and customer service.THEY END UP DOING MAINTENANCE CLEANING FOR THE STORE AND ALSO CLEANING BATHROOMS ?? They color code this by saying you and the other associates will do a lot of cleaning during closing time. But they never say to them yes you will be working as a janitor because we SAVE PAYROLL THIS WAY . SO PUBLIX SAVE MONEY ON PAYROLL EVEN DAY BY NOT HAVING A MAINTENANCE OR JANITOR department AND USE OTHER EMPLOYEES TO DO THIS JOB. SUCH A SHAME.

Wanted to give a huge shoutout to Elisa. She was extremely nice and helpful with my questions on a Valentines Day cake. I told her that I wanted to make it look good but I didnt really have a design. She knew exactly what I meant and placed my order perfectly. Amazing attitude and kindness.
