        They didnt take the time to familiarize themselves with our election bylaws, and as a result they allowed people to take over an election using proxies that were not properly submitted to the Secretary for review. This is going to be a huge problem for our community that will tie it up in litigation.

        I have been board member with Sabal Isles Subdivision in Orlando for over a year. I have been very pleased with Towers Property Management! They have been professional and enjoyable to engage with. From the front desk, to accounts payable, to accounts receivable, to our property manager, the entire customer service chain has been excellent! Hats off to a customer focused team!

      This election was conducted properly by the Membership, with the advice of the Association's attorney, who has advised that the Bylaws do not grant the Secretary, who was not present at the meeting, the authority to invalidate proxies. As a former Officer of the Association, you had unfettered access to those proxies and that attorney. In the end, for a 243 home community, you cannot expect to win an election with only having 13 members voting for you to be elected. Even if the Secretary was able to do what you wanted, and invalidate the proxies of everyone voting for other candidates, there would then not have been enough valid proxies to have quorum for election and therefore the existing board members would have rolled over and you still would not have been elected.
