The Spot

Must Reed This is a detailed reviewed that you must Reed. Firstly, the address that they give you in the post office is not detailed. It takes you to the back of the place and theres no parking space available there. The Spot is inside the UCF university in a mini mall. You have to park your car and walk about 5 minutes or more depending on where you park. Dont waist your time coming earlier that 9am because for passport they start seeing people at exactly 9am. We were there at 7am thinking that there was going to be a line and there was none. A lady came around 8am for passport and thats about it. The place: The clerk guy manager does not answer your questions at all, he only limits himself to say that you have to read which is really frustrating because the information he says to Reed does not help because is not detailed. I ask for help in finding out the exact amount that I needed to make my money order and he told me to Reed. I understand that some of the instructions are written, however some people need that extra help and he did not provide that at all. At the end when we gave him the money order He say oh thats the amount really!!! We got the money order hopping was the correct amount. will post the fees in this review as well. Money order: They do not make money orders which means that you have to go with your money order in hand for the exact amount required. If the money order is not the same amount you will have to change it and come back again. If you dont go with your money order theres a Fairwinds Credit Union (for this bank you need to have an account in order to get a money order) and theres also an Addition Finance bank (for this bank you dont need an account but they will charge you $5). Passport $: For example; I needed my passport fast and I had to pay $160 (both card and book) + $60 (expedited services) + $19.53 (1 to 2 day delivery) = Total for the money order was $239.53 Then. You have to pay only Cash or Card, $35 (execution) + $28.75 (express application shipping) = Total $63.75. They need just one 2x2 picture, an ID, and original birth certificate (they will stay with your certificate). Important they go by whats in your drivers license, so if in your drivers license your name is diferente, you will have issues. Also be patient with the lady (dont remember her name) she was very polite and patient. She verified the information more than twice to make sure everything was perfect and I appreciate that. Overall the place was ok. I dont think many people know about this place yet. Hopefully the manager guy will be more understanding next time someone ask for detailed information.

Great place to do your passport. They take care of everything and make it an easy process. You can even do your pictures right there. The staff is very helpful and professional.

Walked in today for a passport and couldnt have had a better, more pleasant and efficient experience. So thankful to have found this place for our passport.

Be prepared to walk No appointments needed Quick and easy Hopefully this review will save someone the stress of waiting. If your traveling soon, pay to expedite and overnight shipping. Routine is up to 13weeks! If you call the 877 number after you send your application, be prepared to be on hold for 2+ hrs and so many callers in line that you have to try later. Check out the passport group on FB to give you an idea of how terrible processing time is. People are having to get their congressional leader involved to get same day appointments in order to make their trips.
