Publix Pharmacy at Avalon Park

After months of seemingly endless and inevitable issues with pharmacies in this area I switched to this one, and it's been a night and day difference. My prescription is always ready the same day the doctor calls it in, and the pharmacists are always friendly, attentive, and competent. I highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone living in the area.

We had an appointment for the Covid vaccine scheduled. We arrived on time and was told the pharmacist was on lunch and to come back in 2 hours. Needless to say how inconvenient that is and defeats the purpose of an appointment. The lady sat in front (a younger women) asked us to to stand in line, just no care in the world. Didn’t specify which line and we stood in the prescription line. We were later told by another employee walking pass that we needed to go the another line. Being our second vaccine at this location , the first vaccine we did at another Publix and the experience was great and fully efficient , no issues , very smooth process and at the time that was the only publix giving the moderna so we drove an hour to them but it was so worth it. The pharmacist at this publix was extremely rushed, and abruptly jabbed our arms, she also gave us the cards without any vaccination dates on it. When I got home, I called , one the pharmacy staff member said I must just write in and no one will know the difference, didn’t sound right to me, so I called another publix pharmacy & they said to never write anything on that card as we are not permitted to that! Once again I returned to Avalon publix and the pharmacist then took the cards and wrote in the dates. Very incompetent, rude, very unprofessional , abrupt pharmacist! Get your act together! This community needs a better pharmacy
