Stayed here for a recent conference and honestly was a pretty disappointing experience. I know not to expect too much from a 3-star hotel but this was not in line with what I am used to from Marriott. My room was facing a major highway and so the traffic noise woke me up at 4am most mornings. I called the first day and they mentioned they would bring it to the manager but there may not be much they can do because they were full. I understand that but the manager never even bothered to contact me. The pillows were the flattest things I have seen, the room had a floss pick on the floor when I checked in and overall wasn't the cleanest, and the food is way overpriced. Overall, you can find better than this place.

The location is good and the self parking is nice. The check in was quick and easy. The hallway carpet had a lot of stains and it had an overwhelming odor of cleaning the product as if it was to disguise another odor. The room had a distinct odor and it was not all that clean as the bed sheet was crumpled and it featured a few strands of hair that did not belong to me. The coffee machine had dust built up and the glasses had smudges as if they had not been cleaned. I checked in late and I was only here to sleep, so I was too tired to go to the front desk to get a different room. The gym was antiquated, but it featured an elliptical, two running machines, and two cycling machines. One of the bicycle machine did not turn on, but the treadmills worked fine. One of the dumbbell rack was empty, and one had some mixed set of weights. The pool featured warm water and it did not have a crazy chlorine smell, which was nice. Definitely a subpar Marriott Courtyard compared to other Marriott Courtyards I stayed at before.

Unless you get this hotel for a steal stay somewhere else. I paid $$$$ just to come home exhausted. The hotel is fine, pretty basic. Rooms are clean and location is decent for International Drive access but its near the interstate so depending on rooms, you can hear it all night. I was there for 4 nights (was supposed to be five but I left early) and two nights the rate was over $400 a night I chose this hotel because my daughters swim team was swimming at the Rosen center for NCSA, which is right next to the hotel. Her team was staying at the Sonesta so I stayed here to be close. HUGE MISTAKE!! There were other swim teams also staying at this location and they were spread all throughout the hotel. As Marriott Titanium, we were placed in the MIDDLE of these swimmers. We had them on both sides of us and across from us. It was horrible. They were loud until after 10 pm nightly then woke up at 5am each morning slamming doors. Then they would get back from the pool around 11 and it would start all over again. Why would you not put them all together? Why would you put regular guests in with these groups? I wasnt the only one upset, many guests were complaining. I did speak to the staff DAILY and they got It under control for one night. So embarrassing. My daughter was in the suites at the Sonesta with several swim teams and there was no issue with noise at all. I checked out a night early because I was exhausted and couldnt handle another night of noise. I was also told about a grab and go breakfast but never saw that. Bagels were $7 and coffee was $5. I paid over $15 for a quesadilla that was made like Subway. Not kitchen, just made there at the counter. Not really what you expect for a courtyard. We wont be staying again next year. We learned our lesson!! It was not quiet and it was a terrible value for the stay we had!
