NOK Construction

Towards the end of last year we had a small fire in our home. Our entryway and living room ceiling was damaged including some of our walls and floors. We met with several companies, but after speaking with Robin and meeting with Brock and Dan (the owner) we decided on NOK. They got started pretty quickly which helped us get back into our home faster than most companies. They worked with us every step of the way and made sure to speak with us regularly and inquired about ours desires for the space. We very much appreciate their thoroughness as it felt like they cared about our home just as much as we do. Thank you NOK and the entire team!

Dan at NOK Construction helped me out with a wooden extra structure collapse at a house cutting off the excess and hauling away the debris in a timely fashion and leaving the area clean. The office was good about keeping in touch with emails and it helped fix a sudden problem.

After Ian, we needed our roof replaced amongst other work and our insurance company wasn't keen to help. Without the NOK team actively participating and walking me through everything and directly interfacing with the insurance company, I don't know that we would have ever gotten the work done. They are also meticulous about the work; there's a "will pass county inspection" standard for roofs, and then there's "must pass NOK's inspection" standard. After the subcontractors got the new roof on, it was technically passable from a county standard but the NOK site manager didn't think it was up to NOK's standards. About 20% of the roof was redone to meet this standard at no extra cost to me. This was a quality job and I would recommend NOK.

I worked with this general contractor on jobs in the past. They were very organized, and customers service was great. Qualities very seldom found in contractors in the greater Orlando area. Ive worked with many General contractors, and Dan is the get it done type come hell or high water Dan will get it done right. Its great to see many of NOKs customers 5 star reviews for work our company completed from windows, carpentry, additions, you name it he will get it done. Regrettably, we havent done work for him in a while, as we have transitioned away from single family homes to take other serious opportunities allowing us grow quickly, and take risks that paid off Thank you Dan for your obsession with job site cleanliness, and honed focus on the little things. Great lessons and useful in practice. Truly has been a difference maker for our customers and helped evolve 2-3 friends just honing our craft to a moderate sized Shell contractor (foundation/concrete block and wood framing) focusing on larger multi family/commercial projects. Dan thank you for what you do for your customers and your investment into your employees/subs. Hope to collaborate on a new projects soon. Lastly, I cant leave wrap up without any criticism.
