My husband and I were staying at Excalibur in Las Vegas and were approached by a woman offering dining and gambling vouchers if we attended a WorldMark timeshare presentation. We went at 9am and were presented with huge “one-day only” discount. They tried to give me a credit card and I said no so they told us that we could finance a loan for the full mortgage with NO down payment. The fees would always stay the same and we could get a booking only two weeks in advance. Then came the real pressure. Three salespeople all talking to us at once, asking questions and wanting signatures. They went so fast that we didn’t even know what was being signed. The contract closing was done in a private room over Zoom, and we never signed a document there. A loan originator on the Zoom meeting clicked “sign” for us WITHOUT OUR CONSENT. We tried to cancel on day 13 of the 14-day cancellation period we were advised of and got told we only had 10 days! After trying to get this resolved with no luck, we got a case opened with Owner Resolutions but have never heard from the case manager. I did not get a copy of the contract until later and that’s when I found out we only had 5 days to cancel!! We also noticed TWO other lines of credit on our credit reports. They signed us up for different credit cards without consent to cover our down payment! Stay away from WorldMark! They are deceitful manipulators and essentially are committing fraud!!

Wyndham is a SCAM. We sat through their presentation and were told we would have 0 down deposit. They opened a Wyndham CC in my wife's name and charged 5k to it fraudulently. They kept taking our daughter out of the room which made us VERY uncomfortable and we felt forced to purchase to get her back. We just Filed a Fraud report with the Federal Trade Commission. I reccomend you run as fast as you can from doing any business with Wyndham Vacations.

Wanted to give a 0 but couldn't there's bugs in the rooms and stains on the sheets. Rooms smelled and to top it off they don't care about there customers. The manager said that we should of been kicked out of the room that night, he was vary rude. We have stayed at wyndham before but this one was not a good one. Others have said stuff about bugs and nothing has been done.

What ever you do, don’t get involved with any of the Wyndham Destinations timeshare programs. We have been members for years, they constantly badger us to get more credits, the cost of maintenance dues and everything is way too expensive. We purchased 20 years ago under WorldMark by Trendwest, we could book a resort really easy, didn’t have to, plan 13 months in advanced. But that all changed when Wyndham bought out Trendwest. Now it is next to impossible in book a resort even planning out 13 months in advance. We paid under Trendwest about $1,000.00 a year in maintenance dues, yes we had only 21,000 credits at the time, but now with 70,000 credits under Wyndham we are paying close to $6,000.00 a year. If I put that $6,000.00 into a savings account and used things like Costco travel, I would actually be saving money, instead of flushing that money down the toilet. If I put that $6,000 into a 6% savings account ever year for just 10 years I would have almost $ 90,000, just the interest alone I could go on some nice vacations.
