I recently leased a property through a realtor (Lisa Bailey) from Avison Young, and unfortunately, my experience was not positive. The realtor promised us certain things that did not come to fruition, and when we confronted her about it, she was not honest with us. Additionally, we noticed that she was discriminatory towards our realtor because English was not his first language. She made derogatory comments about him when he was not around, which was unprofessional and unacceptable. We highly recommend that future renters do not take the realtor's word and instead have every single thing in the contract and have a lawyer review it. Overall, we had a disappointing experience, and we hope that Avison Young takes steps to ensure that this type of behavior is not repeated in the future and that their realtors aim to be as honest as possible with future clients.

Raised my rent 3 months after I signed a new 3 year lease. Demanded me to move our 3 trailers off property we have had on property for 2 years just at random.The agent I renewed the lease with said they were fine, but apparently he no longer works with the company. They gave me less than a month to find parking for all trailers before serving me a "thirty day notice to cure" which I am now being charged over $600 for. If you are thinking about renting form this company just know they could care less about their tenants and their concerns, Try to look elsewhere first.
