GB Bottle Shop & Tasting Bar

I was otw home and saw the led sign in the window as I was passing by and I decided to take a detour. I am extremely happy I did. One of my favorite beers is out of season now and I have been on the hunt for another alternate. Shawn helped me with easy and knew just what I was looking for. What a gem so happy I ran into this spot. I will be back and highly recommend Wheelchair accessibility: You can roll up through the back

A GEM of a place tucked away on Virginia Ave stocked with all the latest and greatest craft beer your heart could imagine. The staff is kind, cool, and knowledgeable. Shout-out to Dan with the beard for being one of the raddest humans around. Do yourself a favor and try GBs. They also have damn good wine (even French wine) and a plethora of NA drinks for our sober friends. Love you, GBs.

2/15/2024 TL/DR We walked out. We come here often on Thursdays to plays games and always have the best time and service, but we came tonight and while our regular guy was there we had the misfortune to have the girl that was working serving us. My friends both told her what they wanted and I'd just walked in so I said "sorry, I'm still looking" so she stood there and stared at me more so I said "oh sorry i'm not ready yet." and she still stood there so I thought oh maybe she can't hear me, so I made the motion across my neck to say "no" and she goes nastily "oh, so you're not drinking?!" and I said "no I am; I just need a moment. thank you". We all thought this was odd but I was like hm maybe she had an off moment. so after she'd gotten my friends drinks I asked "do you have a hazy IPA?" she replied dead pan "no". and then I saw there were some random # IPA's on the board, so I asked "are those ipa's I can order?" and she frustratedly said "no! those are just for the ipa flight". I said "oh ok. thanks for explaining. she didn't respond. by that point I was tired of walking on eggshells with her. so when she came back and asked what i'd decided I said "oh, i'm all set." We decided to finish the drinks my friends had ordered and head over to thirsty topher where we got great friendly service. before we left my one friend had to close his tab and he came back after and said "well at least she wasn't just nasty to us, she was yelling at some other customer for confusing her by telling her they wanted to go drinks when they meant outside." I don't know who this bartender from hell is, we've never seen her before, but if they keep her around we're gonna keep finding friendlier spots.
