*Don't move here if you have family and friends who want to visit you.* Having a parking garage is great and being able to get into your car in the summers without it being 100 degrees is fantastic. However that has its drawbacks in this complex. The complex only gives you a garage pass per vehicle registered to the house hold. Which is great for security, but they only have 32 guest spots for ~300 units. The math doesn't add up. Guests cannot park in the garage or they will get towed. After today, you can't give a spare parking pass and garage pass to a guest because you now need to scan your key fob to get from the hallways to the garage. (an already pass protected area) The office also does not let you get another key fob that opens access doors. (you can't even pay to get another one) The people in the office, while extremely friendly and great people, previously suggested guests park at Publix (a Publix on our initial tour they told us would open 5 months before it really did) but they are towing there now too. I made this post a 3 stars because the complex is nice and new, despite having design flaws. Like an inch gap under apartment front doors leads to incredibly loud hallway noise, or enclosed hallways that smell like rotting corpses every night due to trash collection. I think the complex does a good job hosting events on holidays and bringing food trucks out. However, the complex communication with residents is just poor when it comes to negative issues. Fire alarms that have gone off without any reason given to tenants. No heads up when pest control sprays poisons in and around the dog park, leading to multiple dogs getting sick. Every email this complex sends comes without a contact email to respond back with questions. The phone on the rental portal and website goes to a dialogue tree that almost always ends in an answering service. The current front staff at the complex are a very kind and accommodating, but some decisions that are being made a level above them seem to be made by people that don't have to live in this complex daily or have never lived in an apartment at all.

Zachary, the leasing consultant, has been amazing to work with. He has been patient and very informative. The Cannery is lucky to have him.
