Elevators constantly smell of urine. The noise that comes from the pool area is unbearable. This Camden is horrible compared to the one next door. Do not move to Camden Thornton Park. Lisa, and her team do not care about their residents. If i could give this place 0 stars I would. Oh and there is a homeless person that lives in one of the staircases. I will also spend the rest of my life telling people how much I disliked living here. Such a shame for such a nice location.

Visiting a friend and could not help but notice how loud the sounds from the pool area were. Also the elevators smelled like urine.

Wish there was a 0 star option. Where do I begin. The pool construction project that management lies about constantly. Lying about the duration of the construction. Lying about knowing and planning this construction project for a long time. Outside doors being unlocked so anyone can, and does enter. Even sleeping in the staircase. The parking garage gate left open. My electric bike being stolen from the garage the first week I lived here. Peoples cars being broken into. The elevators licenses have been expired since August 2023. Management said that they were waiting in the paper copies. One resident searched public records and found out that that was a lie, and that the licenses were recently applied for. OH, and the fire alarms!! Going off numerous times. I was told when I moved in that that problem was fixed. I saw that in reviews while I was looking for apartments. Its gone off three or four times since Ive been here. The last time it went off the elevators were shut down. I went down the stairs and the bottom floor of the staircase was flooded. Ridiculous!! The consierge, maitinence, and the leasing staff is excellent. Management, not so much. Lisa does not care about the safety or well being of the residents AT ALL!!! I was told by the former manager that I would be able to break my lease or receive possible further compensation on rent due to the construction. The new manager,Lisa, basically told me I had no options other than to move to another Camden property and pay more in rent, on-top of moving time and expenses. Moving here was the worst mistake I could have made! This is a building of unhappy residents due to being lied to by management. CONSTANTLY!! Edit after seeing Camdens response to negative reviews recently: there is a weekly message sent in the resident portal about construction, yes! They have all been lies!! The construction noise was suppose to be minimal at this point. I am currently working on very little sleep due to jackhammers right below my window. I work some nights and this is affecting my mental health and my career. Management doesnt care. It was also mentioned in a response from Camden that Lisa, the manager, will meet with residents that request it. What was not said is that she will talk to them like they are idiots and below her. Or that she will literally laugh in the face of disgruntled resident. I mentioned that I had to sleep at someone elses house and that it was close to work. She laughed and said at least you have that. Nothing about the fact that I cant sleep in the apartment that I pay good money for each month. She told me in a text that they are not jackhammers that they are using. Im literally listening to two jackhammers at the time of typing this!!! Edit: There are THREE JACKHAMMERS!!! Not two
