I went in wanting primer to seal my ceilings with water damage. I was sold 10 gallons of stain blocking primer. Days later the stains came back. I went in to discuss what happened and the same girl explained that I needed an oil based primer for that. I explained that she listened to me a few days earlier and sold me the incorrect primer and she said they start off with that one because it "could" help. If it doesn't then they suggest the oil based. To me that says, they will take hundreds of dollars from you knowing you will have to return and spend more money to redo all your work correctly and they do it on purpose.

My partner recently bought a condo in the area. In order to make the place more to our tastes, we decided to paint the kitchen cabinets. Thankfully when I stopped into this store, I met Amanda. She took the time to listen to my ideas and then offered a few options. She also told me what she would choose. Once we selected the paint (a latex polyurethane), we worked on perfecting the colors. I saw a blue for the bottom cabinets and a grey for the uppers. Outfitted with the right equipment, I set to work. A few weeks later (was mostly working on weekends), the kitchen was completed. Appliances are on back order. I could not be happier with the finished product. And it all goes back to Amanda. She knows her stuff and gave me helpful hints. Thanks to her and some amazing paint, I am loving my kitchen. A few before and after pictures.

I do a lot of painting havent been in this store for a year because I could never get anyone to wait on me. Tried the store today and nothing has changed. Three women behind the counter laughing/chatting with a male customer. I was there about 10 minutes hoping someone would offer to assist. I finally left, but they did say goodbye. I recommend the SW store on Saxon. GREAT customer service.
