This company operates the way every HVAC in the business should be run. Honest, reasonably priced, extremely knowledgeable and very courteous. My a/c stopped working yesterday, had no clue what the problem was so I called Ierna because their service call was only $80 whereas my home warranty company has a $150 deductible. A guy shows up later that night and he tells me my 15 year old unit had a leak in the evaporator coil, it had zero refrigerant left, could not be repaired, and since it used R22 refrigerant (which was banned in this country in 2020), I had to purchase a new complete system. I told him I had to think about that. Next day I called my home warranty company and they sent out a company whose name I recognized and it was Always There Heating and Air in Odessa. It was the company this young man works for and had come out last March for a service call.
They are contracted by my home warranty company to do some of their service work, but they are also a stand alone business that have a customer base of their own they service as well. I told him what the Ierna service guy told me and he enlightened me. He asked me if the guy had gone into the attic in my home where the air handler is located. I told him he didn't and he told me that the supposed leaking evaporator coil is in the air handler, so there was no way he could have known anything about the coil. The next thing he checked was the freon level. I was only 1-1/2 pounds low, not zero. He refilled the required amount of R22 refrigerant which is still available by the way, and added a leak stop additive. Remember this name, Always There Heating and Cooling in Odessa. Oh, and when they Ierna guy first got there he turned the unit on since I had turned it off earlier. When he left that night he left the unit on which I was unaware of. A few hours later my son commented that the house felt cooler, which it was and within the next several hours the temperature was down to 74 and I need to turn it down to between 72-73 because of health issues and it went all the way down to 73. So in effect the unit was only low on freon and the Ierna guy lies his way through everything just to try to sell us a new system. The only good thing that jackass did was leaving the unit on by mistake so we slept in comfort that night instead of sweating bullets. If you need a great HVAC company remember Always There Heating and Air In Odessa. Five stars across the board. Service: HVAC system repair

Ashley and Jeremy provided superb customer service. Ashley immediately responded to my online request. She took all my information and passed it on to Jeremy. He offered a very reasonable price to fix my problem and never tried to over sell equipment I didnt need.

I've been using this company for AC maintence for a few years and would highly recommend them. They are professional and timely with their appointments and work is done with integrity! Ashley who makes and confirms appointments is a pleasure to talk to. Recently had to have some duct work replaced and Joe came out and did an awesome job. Very professional and courteous and cleaned up everything. If you need air conditioning work use Always There AC and you won't be disappointed. Thank you Ashley and Joe!
