International Granite and Stone - Odessa

I was mostly pleased with this company, however, when I called after the work was done to complain that one section of the grout was sloppy and unprofessional, they blamed it on my wallpaper leaking color onto the grout. They also tore a section of wallpaper and instead of owning it, they quickly ran out without pointing it out to me. They also had mentioned that a piece of trim might be damaged during the install so I asked them to include damage to the trim in the quote so they would replace if necessary. As it turned out, the existing trim was not damaged, so I asked for a refund for that part of the job. Several emails regarding this have so far been ignored. My assessment is that they are a bit dishonest in dealing with customers. In their view, the customer is not always right and they get away with what they can. Employees were respectful and professional, however.

Drove all the way over to their office on the website and Google maps only to find out the Gunn Highway location is permanently closed. Called the manager and even though he stated they were in Odessa, their office is actually in Oldsmar. So much wasted time!

This company lacks any sense of customer service. I've been a loyal customer to them and asked them to come back for additional services after having my countertops replaced by them. It took over 4 days to schedule a simple service call, during which I was called a liar and threatened by not having the work completed if I didn't remove my original Google review. Subsequently, they only did half of the work I requested, and then decided they did not want to complete the additional item. They covered up different stories I received about why they decided not to complete the work, yet felt they absolved themselves totally by refunding half of what they charged me in advance. Accountability and customer service are not anything this company operates with. If you're considering using IGS, I'd definitely think twice prior to using this company.

Not a fan of their sales tactics. I went online to view their selection. In order to view their products, I had to enter my contact information. The next thing that I know I am receiving tons of calls, emails and texts. I finally agreed to have someone come out to measure my kitchen. When they came to visit, I let them know that I was interested in Granite and that I do not like quartz. They kept trying to sell me on quartz saying how much better it is. I let them know that I think it looks like a fake stone since it is man made and I am not interested. The salesperson did suggest that I go to a local dealer to look at the Quartz and Granite Slabs. I did go and fell in love with a few slabs. I asked if I could receive quotes. I was initially told that the salesperson would have to come back out to present the quote. I let them know that I was not making a decision that day and because of this I did not want the salesperson to come out. They finally agreed to just send me the quotes. Before they would send the quotes, the salesperson again tried to sell me on Quartz. I did my research; I know that quartz costs more and is harmful for the people who make it and people have died because of making quartz. Because of this, I am zero interest in quartz, but the salesperson kept trying to sell me on it. It came time to receive the quotes and they were DOUBLE the amount of what I received from a small local fabricator. I had bad feelings from the get-go but once I received the quotes that verified that it was not the right fit for me.
