Words cannot express the wonderful job Sonny and Julie did with my loving, but extremely fearful, rescued Shepweiller Freyja II. The people at SG Dog Training; Sonny, Julie and others, transformed my Canine friend Frey into a more confident, less fearful and less reactive young lady. My neighbors have a hard time believing she is the same dog they have been used to seeing (and being barked at by). I will be forever grateful for the effort and love they put into helping Miss Frey, and also me and my household as well. I was lucky enough to get a Mini Australian shepherd that I was not expecting or prepared for. He was 14 weeks old, I found my self in a pickle as I didnt have the time, patience or skill to train this little guy. I was able to secure a spot for him with SG dog training in what I consider to be an emergency situation. Sunny, the owner and head dog trainer spent the time going over her methodology, although Im a newbie to having a dog I know that I did not want any aversion or negative training methods used on my new baby. Mojo, was on boarded in person, SG came to my home and got a feel for the dogs lifestyle, and what the situation would be like in my home. I felt confident and secure that he was going to be well taken care of at his sleepaway training camp! The Experience was even better than expected. SG started a dedicated WhatsApp thread for Mojoes training and progress so I could see what they were working on every day. She linked in other trainers in her group to collaborate and assess what was happening and how to modify training to suit the dog. The thread was open for questions and comments and everybody was very responsive and committed to making sure we understood why they were doing the actions they were doing with the animal. When his training period was over he was returned to me, Sunny personally spent a couple of hours with us going over the new skills he had learned how to maintain them and continue to develop them ourselves! And has since happy to answer subsequent questions. Definitely a five star experience. I would suggest this company to anyone who is looking to train their dog effectively, efficiently and humanly. Lots of love in this environment. I was nervous to send him to a board and train facility, initially I thought I would prefer to take him to classes. I am 100% glad I did it this way his progress was so incredibly fast, I feel like if I try to do it myself I would still be struggling and so would he! I recommend this business. SG Dog Training provided the most professional, friendly and communicative training for our dogs needs. I thought they were going to train the dog but they did so much more. They kept me informed every step of the way, explained all their techniques, and gave me the tools I needed to continue their good work after the training. It was a wonderful experience overall and both my dog, Heidi, and I are the better for it. They provided honest, positive information which led to the answers needed for both of us. Both my husband and I would highly recommend consulting with the team of Sam and Sunny to see if they can change your relationship with your dog for the better as well. So Sunny Gurule is my sister, my big sister I might add and let me tell you a few things that I think you might want to know when hiring her as a trainer.. First off she is a leader, she is the oldest of four siblings and we ALL look up to her and go to her for any advice or guidance of any kind.. Two she is very goal driven person if she sets a goal she has to achieve it at a very high level failing is just not an option and that goes for training as well.. and three shes so passionate about her job, she doesn't do it for the money and it shows thru her work, she invests more time then need be just for the love of the animal,owner and her profession.. so that's why I think you should hire my sister, DONT MISS OUT ON THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH HER and even more don't have your animal miss out!!
