        Stopped 4 lunch. Clean place. nice friendly waitresses. Had special: pork chop, potatoes & green beans with onions & mushrooms. Beans were flavored with bacon, not bad. Potatoes were very good. Pork chop was tough as a boot, but had good flavor. Would go back & try something else, as it was very clean & nice, friendly waitresses.

        There are different locations that I prefer over others. The last visit to this location I was very happy with the food the service and somewhat with the atmosphere. Breakfast done well staff attentive and helpful price is fair. Almost always clean from what you can see in the public view.

        After searching Google on reviews about Darrells diner , we read how much he loves dogs and all locations allow them , not true ! We went into 17th & 25th ave and asked if we could bring our Maltese in with us they said no , so which is it ? Dogs allowed OR dogs not allowed, will not go back because of this !

      We are so sorry for your inconvenience. We work our hardest to please guests while following state laws in the process. The law states we our not aloud to have any animals in our food establishments. However if the animal is a service animal they are aloud. So it's a little confusing some times. We love dogs absolutely and we appreciate your business. I hope this helps explain why they would say no. They should have informed you that they are aloud as long as they are service animals. This is the law[No dog shall be allowed in a public food service establishment unless authorized by State law and the public food service establishment has received and maintains an unexpired permit pursuant to this section allowing dogs in designated outdoor dining areas of the establishment. 16.50. 140.2. - Purpose and intent.
