I was looking for a new doctor's office that practiced functional medicine. I came across this doctor's office, and gave it a try. The mid-level provider that we saw was great. I have nothing but good things to say about her. My issue with the facility is that they are all about money. Even though we were being seen for a wellness visit, they would not allow us to charge it as a wellness visit. They said that we would have to come back for that visit, that our first visit was to get established with a provider. I said okay I understood and paid for my copay. I then had to cancel my follow-up appointment the morning of, for a medical emergency for my son. I called and they said no problem and cancelled the appointment. I then started getting emails almost every day, as well as bills in the mail. They wanted to charge me a fee to cancel my appointment, and charged it as a no-show. I was not a no-show I did cancel my appointment, and it was due to an emergency. They said that it is policy and they cannot forgive the fee for a medical emergency. I was upset with this because I was not even told this over the phone when I cancelled the appointment. They will be losing my business and I will be going back to my old provider.

Check your bills...Seriously, check your bills. Going over my mothers bills we found (and Absolute Health admitted) that they had over billed time and again. This was initially indicated by our insurance company, confirmed by a staff member at Absolute Health (seemingly this is a pervasive issue that is causing some strife in the office). It is not hard to do the right thing.
That, and the fact that Abby Anderson is no longer with the office. We simply have no reason what so ever to continue with Absolute Health for any services for our family.

They do not have the translation system for patients who cannot speak English. Incredible

Dr. Angela Johnson is excellent. It's nice to have a doctor that is willing to do research on topics that I bring up, like peptide therapy, supplements, and new medicines. What a breathe of fresh air.
