OYO Hotel Ocala, FL I-75

I have stayed here 2 weeks. Its the cheapest hotel in Ocala. Very accommodating, great service, friendly, clean rooms, and great location. Zero issues or complaints.

Great place to stay! Very friendly staff, very welcoming and makes you feel like you're home. Has every amenity needed, and even has on site laundry. Rooms: Very pretty and cozy rooms, and they are clean and smell great! Safety: Very safe area! Walkability: Short walks to shopping, food and gas station

The staff at the front desk was pleasant but not very active in cleaning the property. My significant other turned on the water to wash his hands and then thought someone passed gas. I washed mine right after and realized it was the water that smelled like garbage. The bathroom looked as if it hasnt been cleaned for so long there are stains everywhere, including the shower curtains, and towels. The bed sheets were stained also. The microwave is dirty also. I would never stay again. From the outside youd think its a clean place although not a fancy hotel which is fine. The lighting in the room was old and tilted and rocked back n forth. Placed not so strategically blocking the window along with a dirty couch. You get 1 stained wash rag, 2 small stained towels, and stained bed sheets with a thin quilt. Im sorry for any future visitors, like us, that book, drive from out of town, and are stuck here. This is not an OY as the site claims. You pull up, and there it is, a raggedy economy inn. A plus? There are plenty of places to eat in walking distance. Walkability: Places to eat very close. I walked to Dunkin Donuts to get coffee and some clean water to brush out teeth with.
