This school actually sucks ball. Like... Literal balls. Some teacher were cool, most sucked. I HATE WEST PORT HIGH SCHOOL.

The school in whole is very odd. The principle and counselors don't care for you. The teachers are a hit or miss. Some are great and others are just down right horrible. Whatever you do, don't get Lori Morton, she is college readiness math and she is the worse teacher I have ever encountered. She is rude to all her students and doesn't care like a teacher should. Good luck!

One of the better schools however fear that youre going to get shot every day is not ok. Id let these people search my bag all they want to avoid anyone getting shot. Its also ridiculous that they give us such little time to get to class. All of my classes are in the same building. I dont talk to anyone and book it. I still have trouble getting to class on time and will all of the little groups of friends that are posted up blocking everyone get OUT OF THE WAY! I feel bad for people whose next class is on the other side of campus.

The school itself is a good school. My daughter just graduated and I have a son in 12 grade this year. But graduation day is TERRIBLE!!! 1st of all its outside in June. Anyone who knows Florida realizes that summertime is the rainy season, so why have this important, once in a lifetime event outdoors??? It was in the football stadium we got there early and people were already lined up to get in we got in and there were NO seats left. I had my 85-year-old grandma with me and she didn't have a seat so she went and sat in the car the whole time. From where I had to stand, I couldnt see my daughter at all. I almost cried. I will never get that day back. And my grandma missed it all. And one of the people there had a gun, he was arrested but it was crazy to have that many people there. Not to mention the half-naked women that came in. 665 Students graduated that day and maybe more than half didnt get to see their child graduate. Its a mess that needs to be fixed.
