I purchased a 4.0 engine for my 2002 Jeep wrangler in 2017. 60000 miles later still runs like a champ. Would I purchase another one ? Absolutely.

Got a 2.5 with the balanced crank for a Wrangler. Arrived well packaged and clean. Took my time. Cleaned and painted everything. Primed the motor on the stand before I dropped it in. Started right up on the second try. Had my distributor 180 off. Completed the break in. It's smooth. It's quiet. I believe I got a good one. Let's see if we can go another quarter million miles. Thanks guys.

Motor arrived on time and as described. Motor included a quality gasket set and oil pump. Very pleased with my purchase. John was great to work with. I will definitely do business with this company again.

This company will make common sense people look stupid, they will not warranty your engine if u buy it steer clear of the company they will want u to pay to ship it back and pay labor costs if anything is wrong. Broke in procedures done right along with proper fluids engine lasted me not even 3500miles valve lifters blew. Was told my Jeep was ran overheated 250+ I might as well have blew the head gasket too.. if it was ran that hot the heat tab wouldve fell off the engine completely. must be a stupid person to run a vehicle that hot. First picture is a heat tab that looks the same as when I received the engine mounted near thermostat housing, second picture they mount a heat tab under your headers thats meant to make a dumb person even more stupid but not me the heat of the header pipe will melt it without even overheating, a complete set up to void a warranty. Why not mount on the coil pack side of engine? Common sense. Another thing I paid a 500$ core charge upon purchase they said it would be refunded only gave me back 169$ back from a good block. These engines are junk and built to be lemons and will rip u off. What a waste of nearly 3k after all shipping and core charges were final and done, not worth the money and stress.

Funny how dude responded to my post I wouldnt be on here making this taking the time out of my day for no reason. (All warrentys from these con artists are non transferble) Bought an engine for my 1994 wrangler which they are claiming they didnt sell the engine at all. Straight scam. Brand new 4.0 Engine blew right away with rod knock. these guys wont warrenty it after claiming they have the same warrenty as other parts shops. Seems like Im not the only person on here having a problem with this as everybody elses engines have blown right away or needed new seals right away. This company needs to get what it deserves and you should always read the reviews before buying something. They also wont transfer the warrenty to the next persons name if you sell the car after telling me they would.

These heat tabs in your pictures are melted. I appreciate you sharing these images. Heat tabs melt at 250 degrees Fahrenheit. They are added to every engine built. They are installed in locations where the coolant is present, on a freeze plug or near the thermostat housing. Engine coolant is not present on the coil pack side, that is a cavity where oil returns to the oil pan (on a Jeep). The fact that we build 130-140 Jeep engines a month each one with heat tabs in the same exact locations was not mentioned In your review, I would like to clarify that only the engines that over heat ever seem to have melted heat tabs. Our warranty clearly states overheating will void your warranty. You can review that here https://titanengines.com/warranty/ feel free to contact Titan Engines and we would be happy to show you what a new heat tab looks like for reference, one that has not melted. As explained your core charge is refunded with the cost of return shipping deducted from the total, your return shipping charge was $342.50 leaving you with a core refund of $157.50 out of the original $500 core charge.-Thank you

First problem, Kaden did not purchase an engine from Titan Engines. Second problem We’ll have no part in his attempt to scam a third person into buying a Jeep with an engine previously ruined by the individual he bought it from. In closing, if your intentions are to buy an engine, break it, then re-sell it, please take Kaydens advice and do not purchase a Titan engine. We’re not here to help with that kind of behavior.
