I would not recommend this business. Unreliable. We got 5 pairs of glasses from Home optical. Some are for reading, some are progressive. And there is some kind of issue with each of them. FRAMES: While the frames look pretty, almost every single frame is uncomfortable to wear. Some hurt the nose, Some fall off the face and cannot stay on the top of the head, when are not being used . When we came and asked to adjust the frame, the owner slightly bent it in her hands and returned it back to Us. It worked for a bit. Now they are falling off the face again. My $25 frames from CVS are way more comfortable. While the owner was "fixing " my frames, by bending, another customer came and was complaining about his frames falling apart. Some screws fell out. Looks like we are not the exception. It seems that problem with frames here is a rule. LENSES: With all of the glasses we start experiencing physical discomfort after a while - fatigue, dizziness, headaches. When we went to another place to check our progressive glasses, they told us that the lenses were not calibrated properly. They had it set up for Astigmatism, and I do not have astigmatism. SERVICE: Pleasant talking to, but the owner is too pushy to sell extras to bring the price up. Over promise, under deliver. We were leaving town and made it clear that we needed to get the glasses by certain date. We were assured we will get them by Friday. We came on Friday - glasses are not ready. We had to chase them down for a week to get our glasses. We had to call them, and come over few times to find out that there are delays. On the next week Thursday, day before we were leaving Miami, we had to literally sit by their office wait for our glasses to be finished. Summary: Too much stress. Not a quality product. Not worth it

Home Optical is the place to go if you want to get quality glasses at the best price, from the first moment everything was excellent, as soon as I entered they served me kindly and offered me a coffee and something to drink while I waited for my glasses to be ready, thanks to the staff for their patience and the great effort in helping me to get what I wanted.

(Translated by Google) Satisfied with the Gaffas optical service, the doctor is very polite and loves her job, you can feel it. There are Russian-speaking assistants, very polite and helpful. Their pricing policy is above average, but the service is worth it. The store owner made a nice discount. There was an issue with the eye of the glasses frame, it was sorted out and they gave a guarantee for a year. There was discomfort from the new glasses, but it went away after a week, it's normal for the vision to adjust to the new glasses. This business is careless with prescriptions and communication. Huge order problems that are very costly are happening here and the owner & management are passive aggressive and play games with clients instead of addressing this chronic issue that is clearly represented in their reviews. Clients are not experts in Glasses or Prescriptions. It is the businesses responsibility to clearly explain Lens types & options to clients and triple check that Prescriptions, Lens Options, and Frame Choices are perfect before accepting Money or proceeding with Orders. This is not happening here with any consistency and this business will argue with you, fight you to the death to justify their sloppy service and tire you out in the end. They could even add on costly extras knowing that disputing an Rx is difficult; and then it will be on you to argue with them and your credit card. For whatever reason this is all a too common occurrence here and the owner & management are SPITEFUL rather than REFLECTIVE about what is causing so much dissatisfaction in their transactions. These problems are not the customers fault.
