        My first experience with Doctor Parsons was amazing ! I had been with the same dentist for 30 years, so I was a little nervous about the change. From the time I called the office to schedule my appointment, to dealing with the dental assistant, to getting x-rays, and then to consulting with Dr. Parsons herself -The whole experience was pleasant. The office was comfortable and professional, with the latest of everything ! RASMUSSEN Family Dental is my new dentist!

        I went there to get a basic cleaning since my insurance covers 2 free cleanings per year. Instead, after x-rays which I was unaware were going to take place, I was told I need a deep cleaning. I'm sure I do, but I wasn't there for that. Instead, they want to put me on the plan to clean my teeth over a period of time that my insurance only covers half of. I could not afford this, and asked just for the basic cleaning. They would not do that service for me, and charged me $100 for the exam and x-rays which my insurance only covered half of. This place is not for people concerned with cost. They offer no payment plans and no options other than what they want to charge.

      Hi Justin, we’re sorry to see that we did not exceeded your expectations on your most recent visit with us. We will use your feedback to improve future experiences for our patients. It is disappointing when an insurance company is not covering the needed care that patients need. This is often feedback that needs to be communicated with the employees HR team regarding the limitation of coverage by their negotiated plan. Often this care is covered at 80-100%. We aren’t able to ethically diagnose care due to insurance coverage or limitations. Additionally, we do offer our patients CareCredit financing (https://www.carecredit.com/) where we pay the interest for the patient so they can complete the work at 0% Interest for 6 or 12 months. Again, I’m sorry we didn’t knock it out of the park at your visit. - Cale, Practice Administrator
