My wife and I stay here every year and you just can't beat the view, the beach, the guests, and of course the owners and the staff. It's a slice of old Florida I hope and pray never goes away. There are restaurants in walking distance, Sunset Grill, Pelican Alley and more to be had within a short drive, Paradise Grill for starters. On longer stays we even ride our beach cruisers to Paradise Grill. If you're looking to live in a Jimmy Buffett song for a while, this is it. Oh and did I mention the Drum Circle, the Ukelele Club, the hula-hoop club, and much more that meet right down at the public area? I even bring my own Uke and play Over the Rainbow, however badly, down by the shoreline. And make sure to visit the Casey Key Fish Camp for yet another slice of disappearing Florida. The larger rooms have a nice small kitchen and we have been known to cook our own dinners right in the rooms. And on our longer stays we will utilize the BBQ grills on the deck. For beach access it's RIGHT there. And they have a small beach closet that you can use umbrellas, chairs, other fiddly things that guests leave behind. We left a skim board for someone else to use and there are plenty of pails, scoops, kids shovels, etc. for anyone who wants to make a sand castle. During turtle nesting season it's not unusual to witness sea turtles making a nest a laying eggs in the middle of the night, but you have to be patient and quiet. The lone palm picture is the view right outside the middle rooms and the beach picture, well honestly, if that doesn't sell you on beautiful Casey Key I don't know what will. And when you go, tell Jeni and the crew Joe says hi. For a brief moment, all your troubles are left behind.

We had another (our third) wonderful stay at Island House. We find the beachfront apartments perfect for us and love the view from the second floor. As usual, the apartment was spotless, the kitchen well equipped and there is plenty of space to store the food you bring in. The fold down Murphy bed is extremely comfortable and so easy to use. The shower is spacious and the bathroom also has ample space for everything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful and of course, the setting and beach are just beautiful! We will see you again!
