        Best prices and quality of trim products. Makayla at the desk is so good to work with. She is patient and competent? True professional in her line of work. Instead of Kimmel Kate, it should be Kimmel Makayla.

        A rude older gentleman (if you could dare to call him that) with glasses and a salt & pepper beard chastised me upon entrance for asking if pricing was listed anywhere out in the yard. Did everything he could to call me stupid and dismiss me without blatantly saying it. Don't know what kind of stick is poking him, but a terrible first impression is being condescending to your potential customers. The younger lady behind the counter with blond hair was very kind. Old man needs to learn some etiquette. That's not how you build repor with your customers. I'd avoid buying lumber from these guys, seems like they couldn't care less about their customers.         If I could rate with zero stars I would. I am building a house. The builder chose Kimball to install the windows and sliders. The windows are missing the covers to hide the screws. The sliding doors are off about an inch and a half. The workmanship is terrible. The cuts are not lined up properly. They have been paid in full and so now, after reaching out to them many times, they have said they just needed to get it done so they could be paid. They will not return to fix this mess. We have not even moved into the house yet, so it is nothing we did to make it like this. Obviously, they do not care about their workmanship or doing their job correctly. They said they could fix it, but they will charge us another $6,000.00!!! Do NOT get your work done by them, buy from someone who cares. If anyone wants to reach out to me, I will be happy to show you their work. Stay away from this company!!

        Without a doubt the worst plywood I have ever worked with. Over 50 years inthe trade and this stuff is junk they should be ashamed of themselves fou selling stuff like this. Next time I will go to homedepot. As bad as it sounds they have a better product no I

      Kimal Lumber is one of the few independent lumber dealers still in business in Southwest Florida. We are continually changing to meet the challenging ''New World'' after the downturn and the end of the housing boom.We are driven by our customer's needs and always strive to discover new products, systems and technologies that will move us into the future-because the future is really where it's at.woodsmallKimal Lumber opened in 1981 during a recession year, by Al Bavry and Kim Pavkovich (both came from Wickes Lumber). Kim and Al became the partners ''KimAI'' and the business began with 9 employees. In 1983 a new pre-hung door operation was opened. Since then the company has grown steadily from its inception into 6 separate locations, including an Exterior Window and Door Division, a Design Center/Showroom, an Engineered Wood/Truss Division, and a Sarasota Drive-Thru Lumberyard with hardware store/showroom. In 2018 Kimal was acquired by Gulfeagle Supply Company of Tampa, Florida.We know our customers like to shop where they're made to feel welcome and their materials get to the job on time. This is the value we add to everything we sell.

      I agree with you, what you describe is UNACCEPTABLE! I apologize that your purchase experience was less than desirable. Unfortunately, we are not set up to be able to display pricing on products in the yards as we have many levels which may be different for various customers. I hope that Mikaleh (the younger lady behind the counter) was able to provide you with the information you needed. Thank you for coming in to the location. In the future, if you do not get the attention and support that you would like - ask for Mike Orlikowski. He is the Branch Manager of Nokomis, and I'm sure that he would be more than happy to help!

      Mrs. Sillitoe - I apologize that your experience getting your house built has been a frustrating one! Even in the best of circumstances, our builder partners do not get enough credit for the chaos that they manage in order to complete a project. That being said, I do know that we have tried to be available as a resource to help each of your builders while they were involved with your project. I know you were presented with some options for correcting some of the things you are unhappy with. We certainly care about our reputation in this market and your satisfaction as the homeowner. If your current builder wants to contact us with a plan to move forward, we are here to help if we can.

      Mr. Bentley - I apologize that the plywood you purchased was not acceptable. We usually have great feedback on the products from our vendors - but certainly they are not perfect. I'm sure if you were to contact the manager of the location where you purchased the products, we could figure out how to replace the bad plywood with some that would be more to your liking.
