It took 4 calls to make first appt at their call center. We arrived for our first appt and they cancelled because their computer was down. 2nd appt-the guy didn't know much about the details. He called the head man who was also unable to answer his question re: my wife's sale of her house last year. It took 2 hours and it wasn't done. It upset the guy who had the appt after us. I still haven't heard from Jackson Hewitt to do my taxes.

Garbage Services and Customer Service. When I called to check on my taxes they told me I could call the IRS myself. So throw your hard earned money in the trash and don't waste your time. I mean they're in a cubicle at Walmart for Christ sake!!!!!!

Wish I could give zero stars. Made an appointment and was stood up at the New Smyrna Beach Walmart Jackson Hewitt. Should have know better but I went back. My preparer was completely unprofessional-on and off her cell phone and had half smoked cigarettes sitting on the desk. She never discussed what she was doing with my W-2s, only asked me if I had dependents. Literally the only question. Then, she informed me i would be getting a refund-she finished and filed my taxes electronically and THEN AND ONLY THEN told me I was being charged $530 by Jackson Hewitt bc I had multiple W-2s. Not once did she explain what it would cost. My parents filed together with multiple W-2s at H and R Block and paid $150. I mistakenly assumed I would be in that price range. I feel completely ripped off. I should have just used Turbo Tax. I will never ever use Jackson Hewitt again-and this is coming from a person who has FAMILY THAT WORKS THERE. (I didnt use the family member bc they are 1200 miles away). In summary I am thoroughly disgusted with this company.
