Great place to get taxes done

This was my first time here and based off previous positive reviews I decided to give it a shot. I had a great experience while I was there in person getting my taxes filed. It was a low fee for filing which I thought was great on top of the fact that I strongly support small businesses. However after a month of not having received my taxes I decided to check on my paperwork. It said, refund to be received by check. I did not agree to this method of payment. I had called, left messages, and even emailed and getting through to my tax preparer was like pulling teeth. When I FINALLY spoke to him I discovered the reason I had not received my refund was because he had not even processed my refund. Which of course after sending an email expressing my dissatisfaction I never even so much as received an apology from him. I have all the email threads. Had it not been for my constant follow up my taxes wouldve never been filed. The only reason Im not giving this place a 1 star is because Madison the receptionist seemed to be the only one there with any type of empathy and actually gets things done. Please be aware of this place! Wouldnt want someone else to get penalized for not processing taxes on time and getting hit with fees. For some context: I got my taxes filed on Jan. 30th (1 day AFTER the first day of tax filing).

I filed taxes for 2019 with this company in 2020 I was informed that I never filed taxes so I contacted Ken, he informed me they filed taxes and that he would re-send the paperwork out so he sent me some papers to sign which were new tax paperwork backdated to 2020 so he filed those and now I get paperwork from the IRS stating I filed late and I owe Late fees. Not to mention my wifes information was entered incorrectly the second time, we have the paperwork from the first time we filed with him and everything was entered correctly put on the second forms he entered her information wrong so it only makes sense that they filed late which is why Im getting charge late fees. They said they do not hold any responsibility and Im the one responsible to make the late payments I also paid them to file me as an S corporation I never received any paperwork on that to prove that I was an s Corp ive asked multiple times for proof and every time I get told there is no way they can show me proof. Until my issues are resolved my review will stay up once they fix everything that arose from me filing taxes with them I will delete my review.
